Hello everyone

My first Yakuza game was the original on PS2 back in around 2009, when Yakuza 3 was the newest game and Yakuza 4 was just announced for a western release. I played through 1, 2, 3, and 4 right when it released. Couple years later I bought 5 digitally, but couldn't remember anything that had happened after Yakuza 1, so I dropped the game and haven't touched the franchise since. Been really happy to see it succeed over here though - I thought it was insane that it hadn't done better, even back then. Considering getting back into the franchise with 0, but there are so many games now and I remember feeling burned out even when there were only 4.

Mario Party Advance over Mario Party 5? Wtf?

Aoutch! I love Mario Party 5 so much x) but it's a decent tier-list overall. I agree that MP10 is the worst of the serie!

I would put Mario Party 10 on C. To be fair its a bad mario party but by far not a bad game. Its decent.

Main issue with Jamboree so far is the economy is somehow even more inflated than Super. The game just floods you with coins from lucky spaces, bonus games, minigames with multiple winning players, and more. The items don't cost enough to offset this either, so every game ive played has every player ending with triple digit coins. Also some of the buddy games are extremely dull. Still fun tho.

I might have to get an early Dreamcast and some repro discs, I just got a Retroscaler2x and oddly enough my Sega Saturn came with some Dreamcast S video cables.

Another good option is bits of 2x4 that way if you have weird shape shelves or game cases you can cut them to size

You asked why to play it 4:08 I was the same way. But 3 portable when you play as Kotone Shiomi, you really get a whole other side of persona 3. Story that isn’t like Mokoto’s. From how she deals with depression and her emotions are different, from the different social links as well as her iconic smile

I regret throwing away the GameBoy Advance box covers as a kid. I ended up buying these custom box covers from an Etsy seller, and they're great! I've only bought the replacement box covers for games such as Mega Man Battle Network 3: White Version, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. I highly recommend them! ✌️

The tightness is a def design flaw. You'll wreck the box getting it out.

Going to put my list as a comparison. Currently playing lost judgement. Have yet to play infinite wealth. Story: LAD > 0 > Judgement > 6 >Gaiden > 3 > 2 > 1 > 4 > 5. Idk where to put ishin as I found it forgettable. Gameplay (combat): Lost Judgement > Gaiden > 0 > judgement > LAD > kiwami > 5 > 4 > k2 > 6 > Ishin > 3

Id say Yakuza 3 and 8 should be both in D tier atleast, while LAD should be A max.

Hey, I'm just finishing up my Like a Dragon journey, I've 100% most games in the series (list at the bottom if interested), I normally just do all substories/side cases for the Amon fights. I am currently almost done Ishin and then im done,. While i do agree with your list for the most part what I would change: - I do think Gaiden is too high, I wouldnt be able to put it A-tier simply because it's story is really short, and is honestly is more of a dlc to Like a Dragon 7, dont get me wrong though it is still a phenominal game through and through its just that compared to others in the series it just doesnt have the time to be interesting in its own right. For me B-tier I think would fit it better - Yakuza 0 is too low, it really is the yakuza game. while i dont think its the best in the series i do think it deserves an S-tier, but I dont really mind - this one is completly my opinion, but I think yakuza 3 is really one of the best games story wise in yakuza and sets up Kiryu as he has gone on to be portrayed so and I love Mine as a final boss, a real "what could've been" beetween the two. I did play the remaster and while the combat felt tedious at times I still really liked it and had fun. I think id put it A-tier I do also love seeing love for Yakuza 5 and Kiwami 2 I do think they are also overhated in the community, loved the vid!! list of the games i've 100%: Judgement, Gaiden, Infinite Wealth, Yakuza 0, Yakuza 6, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza: Like A Dragon

I played yakuza since PS2 , I just can’t handle the turn combat system, dynamic fight it’s what make the series, so putting Like a dragon in the S tier feels wrong

I started playing the Yakuza series since the beginning of January 2024. It's a great series! I recently beat Yakuza 5, so now I'm about to begin Yakuza 6. However, I'm a bit burned out right now, so I have Yakuza 6 on hold. I am looking forward to beating all of the games soon.

Playing ripped games from Japan using a boot disc legally bought off the shelf at a local EB back in 2000 was literally why I LOVED my Dreamcast.

why did they put only makoto's silhouette on the inside of the steelbook while ignoring the silhouette of the character that is the main goddamn selling point of this version... they could've used the artwork of the protags with theo and liz...
