How many grams of gelatine into how many mililitres of fluids? There are places where "a box" of gelatine does not have the same measurement as in your country

Hi. Does anyone know what happened to Folk Art's Matte line??? I have a 2oz. bottle of colour 406 Hunter Green and it's NOT what I was expecting. I've used that colour before (albeit years' ago), and it covered in 1-2 coats, as it used to be 100% opaque and now it's way too transparent. Even after 2 coats, it still looks crappy on the terra cotta plant pot I'm painting. I'm wondering if I just bought a bad/old one that's no good anymore... or maybe I have to switch to their "Chalk" line (???)

Hi fascinating. Love these kind of projects and I've been looking into getting a gel plate. So...$3,50 for gelatin powder + $14 for the vegetable glycerin through Amazon. That's CDN $ . So $20, & the gel press print plate is selling for $35 on Amazon 8" x12"...what to do?!

I had Arteza but could never get to love them. I just gifted them to a friend. I found the colours chalky and patchy on every kind of paper, didn't really like the colours themselves and IMO they weren't very harmonious with each other either. I really want to try the Zig!

Thanks to you, I recently used gesso on some stencils... but then the gesso I got was not very thick (cheap brand). I found that adding little flour makes it thick, and it worked perfect. So now I can actually shape what I'm painting (such as a river and a wolf).

I bought my Epson XP-410 in October 14, 2014. The notice popped up on my printer panel last Friday, September 13, 2024 printer pads need replacing. I do Genealogy research and a family tree, thus, I print out a lot of documents for my backup paper files. I purchased the new printer pad already assembled and came today, September 20, 2024 and ready to install. My problem is, the replacement came with no install instructions or how to open printer case to install the new printer pad assembly. I watched this video, took out the one screw and with my bad closeup eyesight, I still can't find on the printer, where to open to install my new replacement pads setup. I need my printer and don't know what to do, HELP I'm 76 and usually can figure things out but this has me stumped!

You need to be careful with this advice. Many die and stamp manufacturers prohibit exactly what you are proposing: digital copy and/or recreation of their designs.

I miss so much you video reviews of products for crafting. Started watching years ago when I started crafting and it was so helpful. Its such a pity that the website is down, I understand interests change (I saw your instagram post about this and your disillusionment with the industry) but your web posts were such great resources to send to others and to check when you didnt remember something. I wish you could put back the website with all your old posts. Hope you make a comeback someday to the crafting world, we miss you.

Has anybody tried this with agar instead of gelatin? I'm Muslim and it's hard to get non-pork based unflavored gelatin here, but I can find agar-agar

If using a serger, why would you need to precut the round edges? Won’t the serger cut the edges for you?
