Yes a crafter who says it like it really is. I too love changing and reorganising my room. My family thinks I am crazy but I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Ha! It's like they knew I was going to be making a video, because usually they just sleep on the spiral staircase!

I love seeing how others organize. I agree about reorganizing frequently. My friends don’t always get it. Lol. Happy to see you also have open shelving. Thanks for your willingness to share with us!

Love seeing a craft room with evidence of it being used! Too many tours are pristine rooms you wonder if anyone ever actually crafts in. Mine is set up into similar zones, but each zone can be reached from the workstation in the center of the room easily... the only advantage of a small room. I've heard crafting is actually 3 hobbies in 1, and I truly believe it!!! 1. obtaining the craft supplies, 2. organizing the craft supplies, and 3. actually using the craft supplies :-D

You are so right! There are many craft supply "collectors" too... which means you need to organize it all. My mission is to inspire to MAKE stuff, too! So that's why my room is pretty "lived in" all the time. :)

Yeah, well now my living room is starting to look pretty "lived in' too. In an effort to spend more time with my family and still craft, I've moved some supplies to the living room. My only child is a senior in high school this year and I can feel the days slipping away. We're trying to spend as much time together as a family before he heads off to college, though we're still not sure where exactly he's going. I may get lucky and have him go somewhere local for 2 years and he'd still live at home but just in case, I'm not locking myself away upstairs in the craft room when I could be chatting with him while he's doing school work or playing video games. At first I was like, what will people think with all these stamps, inks, pencils, etc next to the couch... but then I realized anyone who comes over knows I'm a crafter and has seen my "lived in" room cause its never pristine, so I doubt it would surprise them to find me crafting on the couch. Thank God for Misti's though... I would not be able to do this without one!

Hi Jenny, I love that you shared this I'm getting my kitchen refinished and my cabinets are in my retreat room, which is almost twice the size of my current craft room. Slowly shifting things around and found so many things I forgot I had, I'm going to do most of the room open upper storage & I have to get some of those hangers for paints etc. you're so right, if I see it I will use it. Thanks for sharing, and your daughter is following in your creative footsteps 🙂 love the nosey kitties

Glad to see how your room is looking these days. Even if you find the "perfect" system organization never ends as we buy new stuff or take out stuff to use and it needs to go back "home".

Thanks for the tour. I always love seeing how fellow crafters store our endless craft supplies, lol. I agree, I’ve recently changed over my whole craft room as the layout and storage just wasn’t working for me anymore. Shout out, your a Jersey girl now. I live in New Jersey, there’s not that many of us who enjoy crafting in this state, I don’t know why. I live in Ocean County, are you anywhere near there? Always enjoy watching your videos. I’d love to see more storage and organization videos. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I think about organization as much as I do about creating. Each time I move I always over haul it. But it would help if the industry would stop coming out with new things. LOL notice I did not say I would stop buying them. I am on a quest to find a card catalog for my crafting hodge podge that does not fit in my kallax which I bought because you showed it in your studio in Manhattan and I love them. I am still waiting for Bailey's (I hope I spelled that right) stamp line. Love the video and I am a firm believer if I cant see it I wont use it.

My room was organized for stamping but then I got into journaling too which meant more stuff. So I’ve rearranged but it’s an ongoing process. I’m trying my best not to buy new products but use what I have. Kinda impossible. I only purchased about 10 sheets of paper past 2 yrs except for 100lb cardstock for card bases. I happy crafting!!

LOVE your card catalog cabinet! I worked at a library while in college and always wanted one of those. Also was interested to see that most of your storage is open. I love open storage, but struggle to keep it neat and uncluttered.

I am a visual synthesizer- which means that for me to create, I need to SEE the items I'm creating with. It does tend toward chaos- which is why the racks of shelves are the best way for me to wrangle my paints inks and dyes.

This was super helpful! Thank you! I’d like ve to know more about the pull out trays you have stamp pads on and the clear boxes on the wall just to the right of that area! I’m looking for storage solutions to mount on the wall so any help would be very appreciated!

I was like a kid in a candy store watching this video. You seem to have everything nicely planned out for how you like to work. I really like the carts and that’s a great way to store polymer clay. You remind me of myself in so far as you like to do all sorts of different creative media’s. At the moment I’m really enjoying bead weaving and watercolors. I’m feeling a call to creat a mixed media piece and also get back to my polymer clay creations. Thanks for sharing your creative space, I enjoyed the tour and it gave me a few good ideas. Happy creating ! 💞💫

Talk about NOT fun....I had to pack up and move out of my remote studio (27' x 19') in the space of three weeks (the building was sold). I had been in there for 2 1/2 years - talk about a nightmare. it's 1 month later and I'm still in shock - and depressed. 99% of the supplies at my remote studio went into a nearby self-storage unit - with supplies and furniture up to the ceiling…Meanwhile, I'm reorganizing my home craft studio to use through the winter and Spring until I can find a new remote space. Thanks for the tour!

At about 11:57 in the 🎥 you show a bead box kinda box that looks like a tool box sorta thing. On my phone the lid looks turquoise or greenish. Would you send me a link for something so I can order for a gift. I don't even know the correct name of it to try to look it up. Its up on your shelf kinda high maybe because you wiggle your fingers over the case or box or whatever its called. TYSVM for sharing. Pat from Arkansas
