As a DV worker I have to say that idk what you're talking about. If you're not in love with someone why would you marry them to begin with. You can become closer through some of the things you mentioned but your not going to build love there. It either exists or doesn't.

Just because you won't die without sex does not mean it's not a need. I get so angry when people say this. Ejaculation for a man is a biological and physiological need. No, you may not die without it, but it can make you very miserable, angry, and frustrated.

If one is against sexual infidelity they are against a sexless marriage. If one is not against sexual infidelity they are not against a sexless marriage. Sorry cake eaters, you cannot have your marriage sexless, unless mutually agreed upon. If the marriage is chronically sexless then structurally there is nothing to be sexually true too. No one has the right to practice autonomy over your sexual expression if they refuse to engage you in an intimate manner. If they refuse they have abrogated any and all rights to have any say over your sexual expression. Adults have the right to engage in behaviors that reduce or eliminate harm to themselves. If a chronic sexless marriage is causing harm, then one has a right to search for a cure. That may mean divorce, separation or an affair.

I treated my ex like a queen. I gave her everything she wanted, and more, but it wasn’t enough. Finding out that she was cheating on me was utterly devastating. The hardest part to accept is that she was in her 50’s, and sleeping with guys in their 30’s. Not because they were younger guys, but because I figured a 50 year old woman wasn’t capable of this. 6 years down the drain, but a valuable lesson learned. SOshu Tech is very calming and your insight is invaluable.

My husband sniffs and kindof chokes in his words and then his voice volume changes. Or he will be a real dumdum and he will start being defensive and saying as an example he didn’t do abc but I didn’t ask him about abc I asked about d. 😅He’s ridiculous. She went out food shopping like 2 months ago for like 5 hours and came home with like 1 bag of groceries and not even full and immediately went and took a shower ! And she’s done this again my mom was in the hospital half an hour drive each way so that’s an hour , j stay for 2 hours total was about 3 hours I get home and she’s in the shower haven’t had sex for some time ! I figure she can’t sleep with me her boyfriend will get jealous !

@@TaraJohnson-b1wsweetie some men (and women) just arent worth it. If he was cheating on you, thats just who he is and getting him back will just prolong the inevitable. Hell always cheat on you or leave you for someone else and youll be feeling the pain you have now. Very slim chance to work things out and live happily ever after. You may be better off looking for someone else that checks all your boxes in what you want and thats compatible with you. I know youre hurting now but the pain will pass. And if you find someone better youll thank God one day. I dont know if your separation was due to you messing up or him. But Trust can never be restored and youll always have trust issues. Its time to move on. Learn from the life lesson and do better next time or find someone that treats you better (depending on whos fault it was in your 6 year relationship) Theres someone out there for everyone. And being a woman, itll be 5x easier for you to find someone. Just may have to cycle thru men who say what you wanna hear to get what they want. Lot of men just want Sex. But theres men who want Love. And youll find him eventually
