I’m here because I just wanted a reminder that what I’m trying to do is a move in the ideal direction. How did I hurt me? Like this… We, at my job, do dynamic strains as part of our pre-shift warm-up. One of the moves, which I hated then and now have an even greater disdain for, is a side-bend/straighten/twist. I don’t move like this when working so it makes no sense to me but I proceeded like my fellow lemmings. I’m very flexible and hyper-extended sideways then stood up far too quickly and have been enjoying the luxurious singing the muscles in my ribs have been doing for the past week now. Like being steal-toe-kicked in the ribs from within. Like having the handle of a fork gently prodding my soul. Like pulling healthy teeth out through my spine. I imagine a wing is waiting to burst out every time I take a deep breath. Very much like electro-shock-therapy where the TENS device folds this @$$ in half. Feels like a rib has been removed and reinstalled upside down and backwards. Like being shot with one of Cupid’s arrows but the tip is a spoon. Like lying on a bed of one nail. It catches me off guard like a tip pinching zipper. I’m considering straining my left side to subdue its jealousy of my right. I love the pain like Mortisha and am saddened as it fades. I long for the next pain to sing into my nerves. Usually happens when working on my car. Oil and blood mix nicely. Unfortunately, my work performance is suffering and it’s effecting my weekly bonus. If only I could move the pain from where it is to a much more arousing location so I can keep it there like “my precious”.

I have the first case, which you called "normal", but it still doesn't satisfy me how it looks, it looks awful and not aesthetic, so I want my glutes and stomach more small and my back straight as well

RICE: Rest Ice Compression Elevation. Heat can help after the acute phase, but identifying muscle imbalances and training stabilizer muscles provide the best long term results.
