The glue gun glue dries quickly but doesn't last though, things eventually pop off

True, that’s just what I had available when I made the video, you can always purchase a better glue so that you don’t run into that issue

The shirt fabric is knit, i haven’t tried it with a woven shirt, but I’m assuming it can be done too, I’ll just be more like a smock style 🤷🏻♀️

I made this without the pockets. It came out perfectly. Will make the next one with pockets. Tip: Add either iron on interfacing to hem of t-shirt before sewing or elastic to waist seam after sewing. This will keep t-shirt from stretching out at waist seam.

You can! My aunt used to make us paper marigolds clips and crowns for día de los muertos, you just have to be super careful with the paper
