@ ok, I prefer red ramp where you get a overhead of Delta International gates and wide bodies and the main runway

I REMEMBER WHEN PHOENIX SKY HARBOR AIRPORT ONLY HAD ONE TERMINAL...TERMINAL 1...JETS DIDN'T START FLYING HERE UNTIL 1962....THE YEAR TERMINAL 2 WAS COMPETED....BACK THEN THE ONLY AIRLINES TO FLY HERE WERE AMERICAN...TWA...WESTERN....AND BONANZA AIRLINES...THE REST CAME LATER..WOW...TIMES HAVE CHANGED

I remember Bonanza's Fokker F-27's, Frontier's Convair 580's, Western's Lockheed Elecrtra's and Apache Airlines DeHavilland Dove's flying in and out of Sky Harbor in the 60's.

Terminal 1 was gone by the time I was around, but I remember Terminal 2 very well as a kid, recall walking through the terminal and seeing TWA MD-80s, Air Canada 767-200, US Air planes in the old 90s livery, amongst others

Yeah…I think that was an error for sure. Sadly, HAL will be re-instituting A332 on PHX to HNL/HNL to PHX routes beginning early 2025

N780HA first flew in 2021, but wasn't delivered to Hawaiian until April of this year.

Did that AN-12 land nose wheel first? That's what it looked like. The very steep nose down approach didn't look normal to me either.

I thought: What🤬 is Gridiron Air? It seems to be a new founded Airlines specialized in charter flights for sport teams and this B 777-200 is so far their single aircraft - a former Delta plane. - Thank you very much for another great planespotting video!🙂👍

Yup, the Cardinals team owner purchased 3 used Delta 777-200ER's, two are registered to this "Gridiron Air" company, but only one of the two is flying. The third is painted in the AZ Cardinals colors and flies the team around

Odd how united planes always blow black smoke on spool up and take off? No others airlines do this at SAN DIEGO . I see it on there 757's and 777's.
