Great and timely video! Never done a Disney cruise (or any for 15+ years now) and was just thinking about trying a 4-day trip on the Wonder, mainly because it sails out of San Diego, CA. We like the Disney parks but not a big character-interaction person so that part isn't a draw. And like you we would be going just as a couple, so not sure if these are mainly for younger families with kids. Sounds like you would advise going on another cruise line? Maybe Royal or NCL etc.?

YES, the Retreat is above and beyond for the travel experiences... We had our own butler and 5* experience. No better way to cruise!! 😎😎👍👍❤️🛳️

Have taken this ship 3 times - 2 x New Zealand & 1 x South Pacific. Staff true 5 star BUT I will never sail on it again. In Nov 2024 it was full to total capacity ( full of child 7 weeks before school breaks up ) 4,000+ passengers. It took 1hour & 50 minutes from joining the departure line on deck 4 to when I walked out of Customs. When I asked a Customs Staff member why the line was so long, they stated " You are on the largest ship that docks here in Sydney & it was full. This terminal was never design to handle such numbers. RCCL stop bringing YANK TANKS to Australia. Voyager, Freedom & Radiance Class only could be alowed at this terminal. Give Wonderland a miss BUT you must go to Jamie's

Great video with one small gripe, sorry. The music is overwhelming the commentary. Way too loud. You didn't miss a thing by not entering the Crown lounge. As a C&A member myself, I don't even attend events held in these 'members only' lounges anymore. They're usually overcrowded and pointless. It used to be better years ago when the Viking Crown Lounge was used for members only functions, but now everyone is squashed into a small area. Once inside, there are free glasses of wine or sometimes cheap champagne and soft drinks. This is usually accompanied by light snacks/finger food such as those disgusting, clap cold miniature burgers (sliders). Crown & Anchor Society, in my opinion, has gone down like the Titanic. Slowly sinking to the murky depths. Across the entire fleet of RCI ships.

Is there enough if we take children or is it mainly made up of adult only areas

It certainly is an amazing harbour. No wonder it's regarded as the best harbour in the world. Sydney also offers our visitors a wide variety of shore excursion activities. Thanks for sharing Gill.

Quantum class does not have the Broadway style shows- they have the odd Vegas style shows

Just returned from Caribbean cruise on Voyager used Kitchens for breakfast and late lunch , if back early to ship but used Latitude for evening meals (great food/service ) . Use to grab pre packed food from snack shack when leaving ship in morning though , the 14:00 bag storage and use of facility's till 16:00 seems the norm as we had this . There were few on ship hat had independently booked on ship (not package ) they were also allowed to use facility's till 16:00 on last day . Liked your review it pretty much summed up what's available on Voyager (should have watched before cruise ) as missed few things on ship

Great ship but i really would like to see an interior update & renovation. There are a lot prettier ships these days. The pink circles everywhere were hideous 😅

The two Discovery ships are so much better in our opinion, or Ambassador cruises are great British holidays as well.

Did they serve guinness in the amber and oak? Or anywhere on board?

Awesome video! Just a heads up: Unless it’s different on Aussie homeport sailings, Fish n Ships is normally complementary except for lobster rolls and a special desert. Every time we’ve seen Fish n Ships, the fried fish, fish sandwich, chicken strips, popcorn shrimp, and chips were always complimentary. Also, there’s a venue called the Solarium Bistro that has healthy complimentary buffet options (think porridge, soups, salads, wraps, etc) for breakfast and lunch, as well as paid real fruit smoothies (included with beverage package) and a la carte specialty dining for dinner.

My family and I are going on the cruise in Jan 2025 you have made the tour of the ship so much easier to understand thanks again. So excited 😂
