I am 59 and Used to listen to KROQ morning show with Larry Woodside and Mike Evans Mike Evans did a skit where he was Yolanda Evans Mikes sister And he used to say in a Tawdry Womans Voice . Welcome to Yolandas School of Love. I have a sister 2 years older than me and after we heard this getting ready fir High School I teased her she very shy I still tease her 14 and 16 year olds now 59 and 61 This Music takes me back to the days of Punk Rock, New Wa 3:03 and Rock a belly High School Days. I had hair shorter than all the boys with side burn whispies and a long tail blonde I am a brunette but sun made my hair blonde tail tips looked bleached. Winter of 1982 in the Stock Pavilion at UW-Madison. 10 below outside and 110 inside. The cloud that rose from the sawdust on the floor was eerie. One of the best shows ever!!

This video shows up in my YT feed every year and I hold my breath, force back some tears, and watch it. I'm in my early 60s and have seen music cycle during different periods. I was a little kid when the Beatles changed everything, endured some horrible music in the early 70s, then things got interesting again when "punk" started to appear mainstream. There is a great drought in popular music that has lasted (with many exceptions) over the last 30 years. You have to go off the beaten path to hear innovative music today, it's out there though. God bless all who were lucky to be of a certain age in the late 70's and 1980's - we didn't know how good we had it.

I loved this girl in HS! Her name was Janie Cockrell. She looked a lot like this beauty here. She was beautiful 😍 and brilliant in math! I had the biggest crush in her and couldn't even form a sentence in her presence. She numbed me like a jellyfish! She wouldn't give me the time of day. That's okay, I loved her anyway! Wherever you are today Janie, I still love you! Can you help me with my Algebra? 😁😍🤗🎶🏄
