5:24 - the woman looking at the camera was the first Home Ec teacher in the “new” building in 1927. Mildred (Shaw) Hanks. She quit in 1933 when she married my grandfather, Orville Hanks. Cool piece of history!

Haven't been inside since 1977. Fred Walker was a teacher and Alan Chapman was the dean of students. Great school with many amazing memories of great people and superior academics. Go Ironmen!

@@ProfJul we were encouraged throughout MFA to cheer loudly for anything which deserved praise. i admit doing it in the middle of the opener was a bit immature but that's what you get with a bunch of people aged 14-18. (and to the other person who said we watch life through a phone screen, i know for a fact most of these people never record anything - but it's a once in a lifetime experience that nobody wants to forget, so they record it.)

they are children.... at a children’s summer camp where the kids stand up and clap for everything because it’s what they love to do. it’s totally appropriate.

I had Tom Patten for Literature Class, Diane Mishler for Oral Communication and Robert Freeman for Art in 1980-81 . I also took German Class in the old building. I used to look , almost daily through the old graduating class photos on the third floor.

Hi, My son Doan Winkel helped with the HS Entrepreneur project in which Whitney participated and my wife who happened to be in town visiting brought home Whitney's Locomotive Learning brochure. I would like to get in touch with Whtiney and encourage her to write up an article for a journal I edited, PRIMUS - Problems, Resources, and Issues in Mathematics Undergraduate Studies which published a special issue on Tactile Learning of Mathematics in 2013. See www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/10511970.2013.813879 for details. Thank you.
