House prices in the UK are imprisoning adult children in their toxic parents houses. So for many Millennials, it's a choice between mental health or homelessness.
@pinatacolada79864 сағат бұрын
1. Cutting someone off (or going no contact) is a lot more difficult now than it was before the internet. 2. If you are an adult child of narcissistic parents in the UK, moving out of your parents house is extremely difficult. 3. Don't forgive people if they have done something unforgivable without a sincere apology. You don't owe them forgiveness.

Had to stop being around my brother because of his new wife. I tried and tried but for my own mental and physical well being I could no longer go to their home for holidays or see them socially. I had been at peace with it until my brother suddenly passed away and I did not get to see him one last time. He went into the hospital on the day we were going to go out to eat together for the first time in years. he died days later with only his daughter and wife being allowed to see him. So, protect yourself but be prepared for a lot of feelings when that person passes away--a bunch of emotions--still processing.

Message aside--it seems AI generated voice is getting better, but still isn't reading like a human. Amazing that it distracted me to the point of not even hearing a lot of this.There is a reason I needed to write this--and so it goes. And I don't call it happening for a reason, meaning a purpose, but rather because like a billiard ball, due to all the forces that preceded it. Choiceless. But I prefer the human voice with heart and emotion as well as the ability to speak words correctly and... .Almost nobody that watches/listens to this, will agree. Somehow finding this sacred. Maybe it's the soundtrack or the visuals. Funny how that is. Time to crash into the shore.

Only to the wrong ppl. The right ppl will respect, remember, are grateful and will always repay the favor. Yes, the wrong ppl make up 80% of the world...is why only a select few is admitted and allowed into our circle. This is a privilege not everyone deserves and those select few should be proud of themselves to be part of that privilege.

Yes... but then the person who ignores you could just let you know what's going on instead of avoiding you. Or you could just ask. And if there is no real answer, well then you've got your answer. I prefer people in my life who talk about what is going on.

@happygolucky1320 They may have been trying to tell you. We dont always listen so we truly hear and are surprised people leave without saying anything when they may have been trying to tell us the whole time. I've had plenty of conversation in different relationships where a person flat out dismiss's any responsibility and accountability for a ones own actions/behaviour. Also how many times can your words be dismissed before you walk away? In my experience some people just dont want to work on a friendship if it requires them to have to confront their demons. Too many are comfortable with wearing a mask and ignoring what they need to do.

@TheCosmicTrailblazer i know... i happen to be the person you describe... trying to explain something over and over again... without feeling understood. I am that kind of person who thinks too much about others, why they do what they do, why they do not understand me, etc. And I am learning to set boundaries around that... for myself and others. So yes... your comment is valid ❤️

I'm very familiar with this, I've had to set boundaries from both sides of the coin, my mother was selfless and generous and I took advantage of it for years until I realised the enablement was detrimental. I had to set my own boundaries for her sake and my own only to go out into the world and repeat her mistakes. People have taken advantage of me because I let them, only now have I realised a healthy discernment for give and take, having had to say no to myself first and so knowing full well why and when I must say it to others also. Sometimes saying no is the most kind and helpful thing you can do to enable someone to respect themselves.

So, an AI voice is teaching Zen. What an insult..Of course one should set one's own boundaries. But this video shows how kindness especially in the West is interpreted as weakness. We should ALWAYS use kindness as a benchmark. Otherwise, the world is a jungle.

In this older time of life, there is only one thing that is desired, death..of ego or death of body. These teachings have become my daily sadhana. Having explored every path in the spiritual forest, I never committed to a sangha. No teacher, no guru, no method. Therefore, gratitude for each moment I am able to hear these words. I learned to meditate in a beautiful zendo, the zen way. Love is all there is. Thank you so very much..who ever you are...
