Wait til you discover you can pick a villager and put them in your inventory for later

One of the first mod you realy need to learn is JEI, or NEI depend of versions. It's that big right side of the screen when you open your crafting or inventory...knowing how to use it will make your modded experience so much easy. Left click and right click are used to know a recipe and know in what recipe the item is used, there's also a key for bookmarking items and finding them later. This mod have all recipes for all other mods using @ folowed by a mod name will only show recipes from that specific mod. Once you know how to use properly this powerfull tool, you can quickly progress in all other mods way easyer.

I've never played Better Minecraft but I do have a few mods that you're playing with. The tree chopping mod is a must. I just love it. Also, the fancy village and the lighthouse village are very resourceful. I'm excited to see where this goes. <3

I found it funny that you didn't use the red wool from your raft to craft a bed or a sleeping bag. You could have done it literally the first night. 😊 Edit: A sleeping bag doesn't reset your respawn point, so it's good to have a bed at your base and a sleeping bag in your inventory.

This mod pack seems like a lot of fun. Love all the new biomes, structures and mobs. Well unless you count the trident drowned. But they're vanilla anyway.

I like the idea of all the opportunitys in modpacks, but have found that when I atempt to go in blind, and without a plan, I soon get overwhelmed. Exploring several of the modpacks is a humongus task and I wish you all the best. This is perfect timing. We just loaded up Minecraft on our computer after playing Bedrock on a PS4 for years. Part of the reason was to start exploring some of these mod packs and maybe start creating mods of our own.
