Why did we have a band like Noori scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of lyrics when they had easy access to phenomenal Urdu in their family? Why did Strings need to get actual writing done by the Maqsoods whenever they wanted something half decent, lyrically? Whyyyyyyyy??? Why.

What about language proficiency? Shae Gill, for instance, is Pakistani and does classic Urdu covers but mispronounces words occasionally. Tanya Wells is white but arguably far more proficient in understanding and delivering formal Urdu lyrics. Who's more desi?

Yar even if its them faking the whole live thing I would love to live this delusion. Pakistan me to studio recorded songs bhi is level ke nahi aatay except first few pop years when Atif and Ali Zafar became mainstream. I dont want them to drop the mic and just lipsync everything walking in music videos. The Studio feel should be maintained even if its fake I’m happy with it. Coke Studio has become a benchmark of musical artistry and they know it very well that they dont have to rub their brand marketing. The freedom is still there to the artists and they just want to pour money, put their logo and get profits, result? We get music for a timeless music, I’m fine with it.

Everything evolve so has cs pakistan. The point is people are lapping it the new style. Its not like that they have compromised on music the new songs coming out of cs have beautiful composition arrangements and vocals with addition of visual treat.

100% agree. I have had my doubts of it being live, especially when you can hear the tracks in the background of the bts. And filming in the rain? The wires didn’t get wet? How can you have that many people on set and no noise on the track? I’ll be honest, the live element was the groundbreaking element, but with CA bangla and tamil now competing in the same space, I would have thought CS Pakistan would have gone above them, but it seems they are bowing out of the live music scene and that’s just sad.

Unfortunately still people of Pakistan think that they lost half of the country in1971.Basically Pakistan lost his colonial part in 1971 that was East bengal. so east bengal was never a part of but a colony of pakistan .The actual relation between Pakistan and East Bengal was like owner and slaves ,Boss and Servants. Pakistan & people of pakistan treated Bengal and bengali people as 3rd class people & burden of pakistan from the first day. People of pakistan loved to use some racist word against bengali people like Kala Bengali and Bukha Bengali. Even after 1971 still today people of pakistan love to use some word like ""daw take ki aurat"" to devalue the currency of Bangladesh. But now that two taka equal to almost 6 pakistani rupee. so pakistan did not lost his half of a country but lost his colony in 1971. its a harsh reality of the history. people of pakistan should not claim that lost half of the country in 1971 and should stop claiming that it was a part because it does not make any sense or any change. that's why pakistan has never take a lesson from 1971 because it was not part of pakistan . its a real fact that country or state never take a lesson from colony
