Please, please, please do a piece on Pakistani song lyrics. Specifically how consistently awful they are. Why did we have a band like Noori scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of lyrics when they had easy access to phenomenal Urdu in their family? Why did Strings need to get actual writing done by the Maqsoods whenever they wanted something half decent, lyrically? Whyyyyyyyy??? Why.
