Yeah the older ones. These new RDX's are very problematic. Also the other newer Honda's as well. When it comes to newer import vehicles, Toyota's are more reliable. Oh and that's coming from a Honda guy at that 🙃

Yes and no. The soft parts looks identical (papercone, dust cap, foam) but the basket design is totally different. At the end of the day, most of the subwoofers are made by the same manufacturers overseas. I can name a bunch of brands that use the same suppliers. But each product is made slightly different. Some with better parts then the others.

Sounds like you have a loose connection. Should be the Fakra connectors. Which are covered under warranty.

My suggestion is to not use the USB port for apple carplay. It seems to cause issues.

I think my infotainment control module is bad. Most of the time, the issue is caused by a bad connection (fakra connectors)

With tweeters, it doesn't matter which terminal you use as positive & negative. Just make sure that your connecting both tweeters the very same way. Several people have asked this very same question before on Facebook. Apparently, it doesn't matter how you wire the tweeters. Either way, I'd personal use the darker wire as the positive. That way it's easy to remember when wiring both of them.

I am planning to use my Jp13.2 to power four 10" midrange speakers. Had I ordered a second one, I would have used it to power the subwoofers. I noticed the $499 price and then $399 afterwards. Deal was way too good to pass up. So I had to order one. Wish I had ordered two. You did good 👍. Class AB for the win. They offer Great sound quality 😎

Definitely is huge in size. I'll have to figure out where to mount it myself. I'll most likely make an amp rack and mount it towards the beginning of the trunk.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried pulling the fuse and it made no difference. The fuse is for the TCU. Which stands for telematic control unit. There's a total of 3 TCU fuses. I pulled all 3 and still no difference. Anyhow, I can see why it worked to reset your infotainment system by you pulling out the TCU fuse. It's due to the tcu and Infotainment control unit being powered on the same circuit it seems. I think the infotainment control unit went bad.

I can possibly connect them to a head unit but the tweeters won't receive anywhere near the power that they are rated for. Connecting an amplifier would be best. I need to get my hands on a 4 channel amplifier and wiring kit. Hopefully soon

It does not have a clip indicator on the bass knob. My guess is that the amplifier needs to come equipped with a clip light in order for the bass knob with clip indicator to even function. In other words, the amplifier needs to have whatever hardware required for the clip indicator to function and be compatible. Otherwise it may not work. The clip indication is transmitted via the bass knob cable. The D4S universal bass knob is connected via RCA's. Two totally different connections. That's just my input and opinion ofcourse 👍

I like that it fits nicely inside your hand. Which makes it comfortable to hold. Can also be placed in between the seat or perhaps the cup holder. I may have my brother make a 3d printed bracket. To actually mount it somewhere 👍

D4S definitely had great sales. I purchased several 6.5" speakers, tweeters and their subwoofer bass knob. What did you get?

The sundown subwoofer is rated at 500 watts RMS and has a 2.5" voice coil. Does also seem to have a cheaper looking basket design as well. I would think that the Sundown subwoofer may handle more then the rated power but I have no personal experience with it. Anyhow, the Stinger DC2 Subwoofer is rated at 1000 watts RMS and the voicecoil is 3". The MC1 Stinger subwoofer seems more comparable to the Sundown E12. The MC1 subwoofer is rated at 700 watts RMS and also has a 2.5" voice coil. Even the basket looks identical to the Sundown E12. But even then, it's still rated higher in power then the Sundown E12 and at a cheaper cost. I know Sundown offers great products. So I'm not knocking them in any way. Just sharing what I noticed in comparison to the specs of each subwoofer.

Definitely a good amount of power handling for a silk dome tweeter. I haven't installed them yet. Just received them yesterday and made the video today lol. I plan to use the tweeters with the SFX65 midrange speakers. One tweeter and one speaker wired in parallel for a 2ohm load. Will be a total of 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. I'll need an amplifier that can provide close to 180 watts RMS at 2 ohms per channel.

Good to hear that your screen came back. The screen on my RDX is still blank. Don't think it'll ever come back at this point. Most likely a bad Infotainment control module
