Real Vs Fake Honda K20 Oil Pump (15100-PRB-A01)

How to distinguish the difference between a Oem Honda k20 oil pump vs a Counterfeit/knock off oil pump.

Yeeessssssss!!!! Mine is real. I bought it off fb marketplace. It's used and a bit dirty but i can see the markings. Also, my screws have are silverish goldish lol 👌🏾

The #1 can be found on the k20a3 pump housings. I wonder if the pumps on ebay could be refurbished/rebuilt pumps.

Most of the pumps on Ebay are counterfeit. Especially if priced under $200 (USD). K20A3 pump from a RSX is the same as a Type S pump. K20A3 pump from a Civic SI Ep3, is different.

Hmm, got me wondering if the timing chain kits from eBay are real or not. Would love to see a video on real vs fake tensioners

Most of the parts on Ebay are counterfeit unfortunately 😕. Don't be fooled by the fake Honda labels. Always buy from an authorized dealer. To avoid any issues. Best advice that I can give anyone 👍
