Did you buy other engine block? What about cylinder wall scorching from the debris? Also did you remove cranksaft? I have bad engine, probably bent crankshaft sitting in my garage and am wondering if it is worth trying to repair.

Hi! First, sorry for the delayed response. 1. No, I didn’t buy an engine block. It’s the same. 2. Upon visual inspection, everything looked fine in the cylinder wall. 3. Didn’t remove the crankshaft, only the 1 connecting rod. 4. If the only problem with the engine is a bent crankshaft and you can find a good one second hand, I’d say that is worth it but there is always the chance that you find other problems in the engine or stuff breaks on disassembly and it can get costly quickly

@@randomfixesandrebuilds given that crankshaft is the weakpoint of the engine it costs almost as much as the bare engine 800-900euro here

Great vid. Looking forward to the next videos. About to attempt a full service on my K. Oil and filter changes are a doddle, but need to do the spark plugs and valves.
