BMW K1200R Sport Rebuild - Ep. 3 - Engine & Gearbox Teardown

In this episode I teardown the 1157cc BMW Engine and 6-speed Gearbox.
After an incident where the connecting rod of cylinder 1 "exploded in to pieces", punched a hole through the engine block, spilled oil all over the hot exhaust, catching fire instantly. I've decided that I'm going to try and fixed this and revive this 163 horsepower, 1200cc, inline four, monster of a bike on a budget and with the tools that I got.
I'm not a mechanic nor do I advise you to follow any of what you see on the video, at the risk of damage or injury.
