Once the old Waxoyl layer was off, it looked like the owner just told YRM to send them their entire catalogue… and had this Defender built from scratch using all new parts lol. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a chassis that flawless before.

It’s now cleaner and smells better than the 3/4 workmates I work with !! Laser beam and dry ice shot would do a great job on them !

Removing rust without subsequently protecting the exposed metal is 100% cosmetic. I know this is a detailing and that IS cosmetic, but it seems pointless to remove rust in areas nobody ever will see, since in a few weeks they’ll be rusty again.
