LG used to have a 38" ultra-wide "WQHD+" display in the Ultragear line that had a resolution of 3840x1600. IMO, this was the perfect monitor size and resolution for modern gaming. It gives much better PPI and image clarity (especially text) than 1440, but is less demanding than 4K. Alienware had a similar one as well. I'm hoping one of these companies will release an OLED version in this form factor.

I'm confused with why a 3D Blu ray is showing as top-bottom? But more importantly, what resolution is the projector in? Are you getting both left and right eye 1080p or is it downscaling? Why bother at all with 3D if it cant play 3D blu ray natively?

Yes, please do the Valerion Pro 2 / Hisense C2 Ultra comparison. I've seen discussed elsewhere that they are essentially the same projector hardware, both manufactured by Hisense as the ODM, with Valerion rebranding and doing their own software tweaks.

More like the valerion max vs c2 ultra. The c2 ultra really looks an very good deal to be honest. I probably will get both. But I will start with the c2. That being said still hoping for an benq x3200i series.

@@michaelgentcitygamingofficial The C2 Ultra doesn't have the Dynamic Iris or Vertical Lens Shift in the Valerion Max, so I think it's more comparable to the Pro 2 actually.

Yes, I have the Dangbei DBOX02 and it's been great so far! I got it back in September and watch all my movies and play all my video games with it. Xbox Series X, PS5, Switch, etc. all work great on it! I do recommend at least getting a soundbar for it, bc the built-in speakers don't give you what you'd want for gaming and films. The black levels will never reach that of an OLED tv but it is still an amazing 4K HDR experience playing Gears of War, GTA IV, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, etc. on a 120 inch screen

Joelster, are they giving you a unit to demo or are you just going by the small time spent in a hotel suite which was how the dragon started yet there were no reviews for a long time and almost all reviews were from people who bought one themselves. I was very disappointed with the dragon and can’t believe a few people actually bought 2 or 4 additional subs made by Nakamichi for $2500-$4500 which brings the price up to $5-8k.

The S90D is a much better TV for gaming. C4 has low brightness during game mode and the green tint is off putting

@@theartist25614well I had the dragon and was very disappointed with the lack of overhead effects and the 2 8” subs were god awful. I currently have the new Sonos ultra, 2 era 300’s and one gen 4 sub and it’s been superior to the dragon imo. Good luck. Don’t get fooled by these hotel suite demo’s as the dragon did this but they never sent units out to reviewers except for 2 guys and that was a year after. You need to hear it in your room and the demo’s sound great on almost every soundbar.

You want Sonos, you get Sonos. Want something better? Look into the theater quad or the citation surround system with the towers. Otherwise, it's best to move to proper speakers.

@@theartist25614 just depends on what your looking for man. Want the quads on a budget, everyone is selling their hta9 systems for cheap and they pretty much pull off the same thing. Super minimal speaker footprint for room filling surround.

So I’ve been using the Neo G8 curved Mini LED for almost 2 years and since I have Total tech at Bestbuy was able to get the full amount of my Monitor and went with a Samsung OLED G8 which I thought would’ve been an upgrade and wow was I wrong. It looks washed and dull. I’ve watched so many videos on settings, even watched yours on settings for Consoles and PC settings and I still don’t like it. The colors on MINI LED looked rich and dark. Only reason I went with this monitor was i sometimes do invoices and check emails and the Neo G8 curve does tend to mess with your vision. Im seriously considering going back to my old G8 MINI LED. If you have a suggestions maybe even another 32 inch with 4K, 240hz I would really appreciate it. Thank you

@cakeboy004 Really? I love the G80SD Oled monitor, make sure Dynamic tone equalizer is on 1 and shadow detail at 0, those 2 settings make a huge difference, I love mine.

@@JoelsterG4k Thanks Joelster I just dropped the Dynamic Black Equalizer to 1 and Shadow Detail to 2 and it seems to help. Maybe I’m just used to the crazy brights. But appreciate the advice
