This is a great guide to get you right into the balllpark. It may be absolutely spot on for many set-ups. However, I have to have my neck pickup a bit lower, and the slightly hotter bridge (baseplated and wired to tone ctrl) a fair bit higher than this guide suggests, just in order to get even outputs, or in truth a very tiny volume bump on the bridge. Which I prefer. I may be looking for a hotter single coil bridge pickup.

You don't want to adjust them for radius. You want to adjust them by ear for string volume balance.
