Flatwound Vs Roundwound Bass Strings - P Bass

I recently tried Ground wounds and was perfect blend of the two. Flats just don't have the decay or sustain that I like.

Honestly I think roundwounds on a P sound great for hard rock, hardcore, punk, & metal that’s not too low tuned, otherwise I think I prefer the flats, they sit better in a mix where the guitar aren’t super dense & distorted & the drums aren’t insanely busy
