Nice to enjoy this again. The engine noise of #Helga2004 was amazing, if the diesel engine of #AngelaMerc ever gets like that I may sell her… Richard..

Just compared the original VOP file UK 09_2 Avignon Marseilles from WD MyCloud played with VLC on the MacBook Air to this video on KZbin. YT copy is less sharp and less shadow details but pops with brighter colours..

#FlickrSpelio trip in #Smoky60Series to FNQ and Cape York in 2001 with Helen and Terry. Met and travelled with Big Al and Judy at Weipa but never caught up with Kelly and Jan in the rented 4WD van after Cooktown. Filmed on the Panasonic NV-DX100EN 3CCD video camera. 576lines, but replayed here on 480lines!!! see flic.kr/p/abJcML Bit of camera noise and tape noise at the start and in Cooktown. I love this part of Australia, I worked at Tjukurka for a couple of years back in '99' . Was the VW a front wheel drive or 4motion ? Got to drive this track from Tjukurka to Kintore and back twice in one day. Good times..
