One of 37 videos covering our 2009 trip across Australia in #Smoky60Series, towing our camper trailer, called the #VelcroPalace, from Canberra, 1st Oct. down the Hume to Albury, Wangaratta, Lillydale near Healesville, Melbourne for a wedding.
Then on the 5th Oct. to Kinglake, Daylesford, Ballarat, Dimboola, Nhill, Keith, Coonalpyn, Murray Bridge, Mannum Ferry, Riverton, Saddleworth, Horrocks Pass, Port Augusta, up the Stuart Highway, Glendambo, Kingoonya, along the Trans Line to Tarcoola, Wynbring, Barton Siding, Immarna, crashed trains in the bush, Ooldea Soak, to Cook, North into Maralinga Tjarutja country, watching tourists spill out of the Indian Pacific train, down to the Eyre Highway and west to Eucla, Weebubbie Cave, Cocklebiddy, Caiguna, Balladonia, Norseman, Widgiemooltha, Kalgoorlie, for some trailer bushes, then SW along the Holland Track, Victoria Rock, Thursday Rock, Sandalwood Rock, Wattle Rock to Hyden and Wave Rock, Hippos Yawn, Lake Grace, Pingrup, Lily, Amelup, down to the Stirling Ranges and Bluff Knoll, a wander through the wild flowers west to Manjimup, up the Diamond Tree, Nannup, Busselton to Perth, for the Sing Australia National Gathering weekend, up to Joondalup and Yanchep for an oil change with Terry and Helen, a train ride to Kings Park, and Fremantle, wander around Canning River with Joan, a trip to Mandurah.
Then the journey home South and West via Dawesville Caravan park and another in Yallingup, Ellensbrook HS, Boranup again, Hamelin Bay, Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and Augusta, Walpole Inlet, Albany, Cheynes Beach, Ravensthorpe, Quagi Beach, campsite and stroll about, Esperance, Lucky Bay, new radiator core in Esperance, watch the surf and rainbows to the east, then north to Scadden, Salmon Gums, Old Dundas, Norseman and back on the Eyre Highway, East via Fraser Range, Balladonia Telegraph Station, down Madura Pass, again, Mundrabilla, Eucla, Fowlers Bay, Penong, Ceduna, Streaky Bay, Port Augusta ,Orroroo, Mannahill, Broken Hill, Wilcannia, Cobar, up to Bourke, Walgett, Collarenebri, Moree, Goondiwindi, Warwick, Goomburra Nat. Park for a rest, then to Brisbane, for a wedding and a few days touring and drinking, then south to Byron Bay for a few days rest, and on to Mclean, Woolgoolga, Kempsey, Karuah, Wahroonga, Pheasants Nest, Berrima and home to Canberra. 11th Dec. 2009
