Wow, I’ve been missing out! I stumbled across your video while searching for reviews on a planner. And I have never thought through the process, or even really organized my journaling or planning in such a way. The only drawing I do is in my garden notebook. I should probably explore that creative part of me more. Well this brings my madness to another much better level! Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to watching your other videos.

I can't get past the first layer of nodes in a mindmap. Do you have any advice for that?

Love the Remarkable Diaries book. It's mesmerizing. I've read every page! I too use waterproof ink in my fountain pens because I also like to watercolor over the sketches. Noodlers make a lot of waterproof inks. Since I'm big on brown inks I have their Polar Brown ink. As an aside, that ink works in sub-zero weather. So when you travel to the north or south pole you're good to go!

Something that I have noticed over the years, you and I both start a planner and we say this is going to have only plans, notes, ideas, no art drawing doodles or anything else creative like that. Then about two weeks later we have art all over the place, A sticker here, a doodle over there and so much more. And I love the look of your planners/journals like that. It screams Burgess.

Very inspiring! I love the random illustrations, like the glass of milk, they really add a lot when looking back on one’s journals, I want to start doing that. Fellow ADHD here. My planning is all over the place right now. I’m trying to do a first draft messy brain dump plan, and then re-write everything in the order I need to do things, both weekly and daily. It sounds like a lot of work, but I can’t keep anything straight if it’s just one big list. I even re-do the second half of the day midway through the day, when things invariably start to go astray. It’s so exhausting but I can’t hold things together otherwise! Thanks for the video, looking forward to seeing the Very Hungry Caterpillar!

I made a calendar like yours with white space around each day and then water colored the squares. It turned out gorgeous and makes me so happy and relaxed feeling!

I have got to say I have never thought about color as HELPING me focus…but, I believe you might be right! I LOVE the color calendar. I felt ahhhhh immediately when I saw it. And then I realized that the SPACES between the calendar days was calming to me. Everything is not crammed together feeling. What a neat concept! Thank you!
