If you want to try the at home keratin treatment I used, make sure you test it on a small piece of hair first: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0183D7LJ8/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=sierralafaye-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B0183D7LJ8&linkId=0118f4ed0d5616ecb6e8946e01bccbb1

How do you moisturize your hair between washes? How often do you wash and deep condition? How often do you use heat? Do you blow dry and flat iron at the same time ? Or you choose one or the other? Thanks

Why does natural hair always look so thin and limp (especially when wet) after keratin treatments? I’ve yet to see 3-4 type hair look healthy and full after these treatments over time. Also most salon keratin treatments contain some level of formaldehyde even the ones that state “ formaldehyde free”

Nice Video Sierra welcome back to Chicago. How about doing a 70s scene with a young Pam Grier or a young Jayne Kennedy. A young Jayne Kennedy, I believed correct me if I wrong, but Jayne Kennedy was the first black model female that won the USA pageant award, you probably know that your field of expertise? Jayne would be my 1st pick lol. But nice look Sierra ! Take Care!

Thank you for this thoughtful advice, my producer is getting my wavy japanese/srilankan hair silk pressed in order for it to be dead straight. Not sure if I should do silk press or keratin treatment? I was suggesting keratin because I thought it would be better for my hair.

I love this. My hair started to fall out after I tried to stop putting heat. My hair grew so much faster with a simple routine- Wash, condition, coconut oil, blow dry, & maybe flat iron once every 3 weeks. Going back to what works ❤

ok ive done a bit of research on this, 4000mg pantothentic acid most effective dose and most effective if split up every 6hrs but if not then once in the morning and once at night is fine and take that with 500mg of L-caritine to help the B5 attach, 2hrs after taking the pantothentic acid take biotin at a 2:1 ratio of pant to bio. so if you doing 2000mg take 1000mg of biotin for hair to stay healthy!!! after a month you can reduce your B5 to the lowest effective amount for you which for some can be 0 and others they have to take 4000mg forever until they do a blood panel. For me personally what I do is when i wake up i take the B5 2000mg dose with the 500mg of l-caritine and then 2hours later i take my multivitamin, d3,k2, 2 400mg of magnesium, vitamin c and then most importantly my biotin. at night time once i get home i take 2000mg more of b5 and before i go to bed i take my last 1000mg of biotin and thats it. When mega dosing b5 your body isnt processing certain vitamins well. For you personally you may wanna assess what vitamins you may be missing in hopes being efficient in all vitamins will allow you to go off the B5. For the acne scars and this does help with acne and prevents scarring form every happening again you can take kojic acid from an (authentic source)!!!!! I buy mine form ebay 3 bars for 15$ from the wiedemann company which is authorized and authentic. the 3 bars last about half a year. my pantothenic acid is from carlyle and its 1000mg a serving instead of the 500s and its 100pills for 11$ a bottle. do research on kojic acid before using it can bleach black skin so you need to read the instructions.

Hi sierra, I’ve been doing a lot of modeling shows and the hair stylists literally do not care about the health of any model’s hair so I literally bring all my own products and demand they use heat protectant and non alcoholic hair spray. How do you take care of your hair since you are doing modeling full time and you have your own hair out. Have you thought about wearing natural styles or twist outs?
