We had the same solor controller and had the same fault, i pin pointed the issue to the controller. I never got help or refund and did replace it with a victron, victron is such a better unit,, why why why did you stick with a renogy and not change, ??
@ourvan.ourway
@ourvan.ourway 2 күн бұрын
Hi there. The reason I stuck with the same product is because Amazon refunded the money in the way of a gift card balance. It was only enough to purchase another Renogy unit rather than a Victron sadly. The difference in cost was quite a lot. But I suppose you pay for quality. One day we hope to buy a better van. And with that, we’ll be kitting it out with Victron equipment & Lifepo4 batteries. Thanks

Good morning. I think it’s just the way the camera showed it. When Laura started initially, there was 3 people on the range. They were all on next to each other & there was plenty of space. And the guy who ran it (Andy) was very safety focused. Even when he was showing other people what to do later on, he was still watching Laura too to make sure she was ok. And Laura loved it. She recommends it to anyone/everyone

@@CK-wl1bf it was a really chilled weekend. I think the combination of being children-free, nice weather & extra space by using the gazebo & wind breaks as an awning all helped. I love flying the drone, I’m still not the best at it though. As you would’ve seen, I still get the controls the wrong way round & I’m not the smoothest flyer. But I’m getting better (I hope)

Good Morning David. Yeah Laura really loved the axe throwing. For the drinks, I assume because the vendors (I assume) would’ve had to pay a premium to be there, they had to charge a premium to make their money back. It didn’t make it easier handing a tenner over for 1 drink though & not getting any change from it. No matter where you’re from, that’s unreal. For the drone, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I love using it & hope to use it a lot more in future videos. I’m just not the best when it comes to flying it. But hopefully I’ll get better at it when I’m using it more Thanks for taking the time to watch the video & leave a comment. Have a great day

We have the free version of p4n, but we’ve been told the paid for version shows more parking spots than the free one. We did seriously consider dropping the ridge monkey off the list & putting our fridge onto the list. But for our little overnight trips away, we can get by without the fridge, so it’s not an “essential” for us. For trips longer than 1 day, I’d certainly put it on the list though. As for a shower, we simply don’t have room for one in our little van with the layout that we’ve chosen. But we do take advantage of baby wipes & also using a bath sponge & soapy water to keep ourselves clean & fresh. As for an oven. We do actually have one. It’s just not fitted in our van. Stay tuned for future videos to see if we change our mind & fit it or not 😉 If you’re not already a subscriber, we hope you’d consider pressing the subscribe button to see how we get on with the van in the future. We’d love to grow the channel as big as we can & reach as many people as possible

Glad we could inspire you to take a little trip away, so sorry to hear about the car, we had a similar issue when buying a truck, the guy had put a fake MOT on it and spray painted the under-chassis so we couldn't see the extent of the corrosion. We took it to a garage to get checked and they said it crumbled apart in their hands when they touched it 😮. There's some people with seriously questionable morals out there. Do you think yours had a fake MOT put on it too? if so you could always threaten to report the garage and they'd probably lose their business license. If it was the sellers friend it might make them seriously consider things. Sorry to hear about your friend, losing someone definitely puts things into perspective. Hope things start looking up for you both soon 💚

You guys are inspiring in numerous ways, to many people. Including us. The RAC guy said it might be a dodgy MOT, but it was done at a Halfords MOT centre so I don’t think it is. It could be the case that the tester done a dodgy certificate, but it’d be hard to prove. It’s just awful that some people only see 💷 & don’t care if they put people’s lives at risk. I hope if karma is a thing, it comes back & bites their backsides. I hope you guys got the truck sorted ok It was a massive shock about my friend. Just totally out of the blue & really hit home that we aren’t necessarily here for a long time. And to enjoy the time that we do have on earth, because there’s no guarantee of tomorrow. Take care guys. We look forward to your next video & also still up for that coffee (or whatever) when you guys are next back in the UK. Hi David & thank you. We’re slowing eliminating things on the car, which will hopefully identify what the actual issue is soon enough. We think it’s either a fuel intake or air intake issue, but we don’t know for certain yet. We’ve changed a couple of sensors & done some other little tests so far, which has eliminated things like the fuel pump, filter, electrical fault etc.. The air sensor & air filter have been changed too, so we know it’s not those. We did however see that the air sensor we removed had a manufacturing date of 2022 (on a 2010 car), so that’s been changed not too long ago. That tells us the issue is a longstanding one that they’ve attempted to fix previously, but haven’t been able to
