I cook with propane and found a little heather that I can hook up on there as well. I love it. Tecnically I cant put in a diesel heather, so the propane works great.

You’re absolutely correct. When you make your own van, you make it to your own requirements & specifications. And these are our top 5 essentials. Do you have a van? We’d love to know what are your essential items are. Maybe you have something that you can’t live without that we’ve never even considered yet. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Robert

I love the list. Things I would add 1. refrigerator, 2. Shower. 3. Baking oven either but in or table top. 4. Love, kindness, respect. 5. God!!!!!!!

We did seriously consider dropping the ridge monkey off the list & putting our fridge onto the list. But for our little overnight trips away, we can get by without the fridge, so it’s not an “essential” for us. For trips longer than 1 day, I’d certainly put it on the list though. As for a shower, we simply don’t have room for one in our little van with the layout that we’ve chosen. But we do take advantage of baby wipes & also using a bath sponge & soapy water to keep ourselves clean & fresh. As for an oven. We do actually have one. It’s just not fitted in our van.
