Apple cide vinegar rinse helped clear the lint out. My hair can gather a lot of lint & gunk because I am also a professional mermaid. I'm in the water with lots of floating particles. Letting my hair sit in a hair soaking tub with warm water & apple cider vinegar was a game changer

Getting in a car is dangerous… we face danger everyday, we do things so we can learn. It’s ok for things not to go as planned, it’s about taking the knowledge and trusting in it.

Sis, loved this video, thank you for sharing.. I remember you speaking on knotted Loc’s and there is a social media mess going on between the creator and a very popular influencer now.. This is not how this is suppose to work😕

What loc pattern did you start with and what did you change to? I’m a little confused, not sure if you said it during the video.
@goddessvlogmedia6 күн бұрын
Started with 4pt rotation and switched to 3pt.
@thearough6 күн бұрын
maybe that because edges are a different type of hair thats stretchy, babylike, fewer, that grows 3 inches then breaks and starts again. baby hair would be hard to lock, its wayward and ever changing think edges are meant to be fuzzy loose and left out of adult situations and commitments

My locs have been beautiful the entire time. Loving yourself and being able to see your own beauty regardless of your outer appearance is important. I was natural and big chopped, so my self-awareness and self-esteem were already there.

I’m glad that you mentioned that most “loctitians” are Not licensed. I think most of us do not know this and don’t understand the consequences of having an unlicensed person doing their hair. Great conversation and discussion. ❤

Right! And even though some are not licensed and GREAT knowledgeable locticians MOST are not. And those are the ones ruining the industry.

Won't sleeping with banded damp hair make your hair smell?
@goddessvlogmedia19 күн бұрын
Watch the whole video.
@productioninquiry893718 күн бұрын
@@goddessvlogmedia Thank you. I honestly stopped watching not that long after you mentioned letting locs dry banded while sleeping, before the 7 min mark. It didn't sound like good advice. You may want to add the recommendation to blow dry earlier in the video, or in the description. Your average view duration for this video will likely be no more that 7 1/2 mins, which means many viewers may not watch till the end.

@@goddessvlogmedia I've spent almost a decade working for a Fortune 40. The majority of social media content I create is backed by multi-million dollar ad buys. That said, we work with Google, Snapchat, IG and others on best practices for engagement and conversion. I'm happy to and always will support and help Black women entrepreneurs and creators. Good luck with your channel.

This post really resonated with me. Whenever I got compliments on my color, I follow up with “girl dont do it”. I love my color but it has not been kind to my locs…and I consider my hair care pretty good. Not going to lighten my middle and ends anymore, just root touch up with is black. My old stylist has a salon in houston, she swears by Influance so she sent me the line, including the protein treatments and moisturizers. I also agree with getting a retie sooner. I waiting 10 weeks but may need to go back at 8 or 9. My low density is in the middle to front too and it has taken a hit. Great content, looking forward to more.
