Buddy let me give you some advice! WALK ON THE GRASS NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHANNEL. Much easier the Gras holds you up higher less work. Step on the center of each bushel’

Prop size?
@SmokeNGunsBBQ2 ай бұрын
I got mine back in 2017 and glad I went with swamp runner. As for weeds usually all I have to do is lift the prop in and out of the water a couple times and it gets everything off. Honestly it can probably be run forever and never truly break, you'll just have loose shaft due to worn bearings.. but it'll still run forever.

How long does the gas usually last in the integrated tank?
@floridawrangler2 ай бұрын
I actually tested this. With my current setup I get 10miles to one gallon and that’s accounting for rough terrain.

im enjoying the videos brother. looks like youre having a blast down there. up here in the great white north the swamps are much smaller but the muds thicker! you think a longtail like yours would be better for a duckhunting boat or would a small surface drive work better?
@floridawrangler3 ай бұрын
Appreciate it man! It depends what kind of terrain you will be traversing but a longtail will always take you further than a surface drive would as long as you have high horsepower in proportion to your boat size. However with a longtail you definitely have to be more physically fit and able to control it. A surface drive is easier to use because it doesn’t require as much physical effort.

I know you like your thai kit mud motor. But you really should look into a backwater longtail with as much as you use one. It would power through alot of what you struggle in with ease. I can speak from personal experience as thats what i started with and eventually saved up for a backwater. Ill never go back. As always though great video. I enjoy your stuff. Keep up the good work!
