I got stranded kayaking solo. Bailed and had to dredge through the swamps...things went from bad to worse after I forgot my water in the kayak. No signal for phone. Just had my compass thank God. 102 degrees with 100% humidity. 6 miles till dry land and another 10 to a road. If you want a free 1k dollar kayak it's somewhere in the middle of nowhere nere crooked creek chickee. No idea why I didn't get eaten by gators and pythons. Havnt been kayaking since. Now I want 1 of these boats to go see if i can find it.

very first florida experience after moving here from mountains of new york at 8 years old. befriended the new swamp locals and "went swimming" in their "lake" aka swamp muck pond, chased by water moccasin, came out with leech the size of my arm on my back, saw gar and gators for the first time, then got convinced to go out in the boat and the motor died, didn't have an oar, so the boys decide to swim back. Terrifying experience as a kid, gators all around everywhere you look, but surprisingly peaceful seeing how they don't bother even giving you the time of day like you're not even there (just don't startle a nesting momma). But I'll never do that again, not because of the snakes and gators, but because of these evil little worms that like to live in the lilly pads, they bite like a pit bull and the sting feels like fire, and there's lots of them...wish I had waders

I absolutely love the outdoors, but there has been a few occasions when I question myself about my decisions! A few times while hunting the swamps, I thought that I had met the end of the line! But despite all pain and suffering, I keep going back season after season!

All spider's can bite! Yet, pretty much all spider's would prefer to run! Biting is their last resort and almost always, provoked! All spider's are venomous! Yet, the venom is harmless to humans! Yesterday, I was handling a very large adult female brown recluse! I took her to my ex's house and let it go in her bed! 😂 Just kidding! I wouldn't do that to the spider! 🕷️

You leave your motor on when you don’t use it ?? I got a 14-36 with a transom I did 1.5 thick braced aluminum and 1/4 plate covers most the outside. Plus floor supports. I got a 670 swamp runner and I take it off every time you think it’s fine to leave on ? Your old boat you said transom flexed how thick was it ?

biggest lesson in the video, don't sleep on quality waders regardless of choice of craft. Florida southern standards, snake boots and muck waders.

You really should think about adding a grab handle to your boat for safety if nothing else! Countless people have been thrown from their boats while standing up and hitting a submerged object while underway.

Just need a lil block&tackle. An a pole the length of the boat. Get in a jam stick the pole in the ground. Hold the top end out of the mud by hand. An pull the string on the block an tackle and move it with ease. What you doing is to much

Need to throw some gator glide on that boat. It makes all the difference for getting it out but have to admit, it will also make it slode all the way up dry land 😂
