I believe alot will engaged in this if it is in lay man explanation….e.g replacing number to do re mi fa so la ti do…..i can interact better with the letters
@WorshipRefocusКүн бұрын
Yes! You can totally replace the numbers with solfège (do re mi…) I just use numbers because not everyone has learned solfège, and it requires an extra step to memorize before it can be useful. But, I personally like solfège better.

I have a harmony tutorial request. Could you please do Who Else by Gateway Worship?? Thanks so much! I love your tutorials. I'm a worship vocalist/ leader and I learn by ear so stumbling into your KZbin channel and playlists was huge. I'll be sure to point other vocalists in your direction, especially when it comes to navigating harms! 🙂

Love it. Thanks for your kind words. I listened to Who Else… it’s a great song. I’ll put it on my list. I can’t promise anything, but I’ll put it down. 😊

Do you have a sheet that has the piano notes for the upper harmony part? I would love to learn this and it would be helpful it there were notes I could sing to
@WorshipRefocus2 күн бұрын
I don't have the upper harmony with piano notes, but I do have me singing it here: voice.worshiprefocus.com/gratitude you'll get it through your email... just the isolated harmony part for both upper and lower harmonies.

To God be the glory for all the things that He had done for us and for me. In Moses time as He led the people out of Egypt like a pillar of clouds (shade) that sheltered the people from the heat of the sun and a pillar of fire (flame burns brighter ) in the night to guide His people out of the wilderness to the promised land. His presence never left the people where He spoke and fed them manna daily from heaven until they reached the promised land Canaan after 40 years. Through the generations to come, He gave us Jesus and left the Holy Spirit that dwelled within us as the temple of the living God. Let us remain pure and holy in the temple of God (our body) giving praise and worship Him giving glory back to God for His wonderful creations here on earth and the future plans He had for each and everyone of us till we meet again in His second coming of Jesus Christ and His mighty warriors in the final judgement days over the dark principalities here on earth. Thanks for sharing and singing this beautiful song again giving glory back to God from all of us.

oh my word, you just explained something I have wondered for years and never found someone who articulated it - I was about to write a comment about the diaphragm going in rather than out..." and then you made the explanation about supporting it out, not pushing in. Brilliant. I've also found that helping someone understand what the sensation should be - throw on a hula hoop and try singing while keeping it going! Once you understand the sensation, you can envision yourself hula hooping without it and get the same effect. Thanks for the video!
@WorshipRefocus15 күн бұрын
Oh that’s really cool! I like the hula hoop idea… I could see how that would work nicely. But, then again… that would take some coordination! 😆
@andreanicole200615 күн бұрын
@@WorshipRefocus ya, I could hula hoop as a kid...now it's not exactly graceful. But even pretending to do it gets the right muscles warming up.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, Sung by flaming tongues above. Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it, Mount of Thy redeeming love. Sorrowing I shall be in spirit, Till released from flesh and sin, Yet from what I do inherit, Here Thy praises I'll begin; Here I raise my Ebenezer; Here by Thy great help I’ve come; And I hope, by Thy good pleasure, Safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, Wandering from the fold of God; He, to rescue me from danger, Interposed His precious blood; How His kindness yet pursues me Mortal tongue can never tell, Clothed in flesh, till death shall loose me I cannot proclaim it well. O to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be! Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, Bind my wandering heart to Thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love; Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above. O that day when freed from sinning, I shall see Thy lovely face; Clothèd then in blood washed linen How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace; Come, my Lord, no longer tarry, Take my ransomed soul away; Send thine angels now to carry Me to realms of endless day. The original text[3] of the hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing"
