So hear me out- I’d Thanos’ whole reason for half the universe to be wiped out is to avoid overpopulation and resource management.. why didn’t he just snap his fingers and make more of everything or an unlimited spring of resources?

Vision laughing at the TV followed by his childish little asking of "Yes but it was very funny, wasn't it?" just to confirm it with Wanda, being overly aware that he is a robot and he may have gotten something wrong... it just hit me in the heart and made me tear up. Especially followed by their loving stare. It was like Vision was transversing the entire human experience in that very moment, and knew that he would truly miss it. I think I teared up for Wanda's sake; that she truly lost someone that was very special and that could really bring joy into her life through these small, silly iteractions. Perhaps having the powers that she does... makes her feel like a monster, but Vision's journey of finding his own human heart let Wanda map out the way back to her own.

Vision's time was cut waaaaayyyy too short in the MCU. But like he said, "Nothing is beautiful because it lasts."

Thanos in the MCU was PEAK antagonist, because unlike so many movies he wasn't a bad guy. He understood what he was doing was bad but truly felt that what he was doing was the right thing to do even though it was painful for all involved. He was willing to sacrifice 'everything' to accomplish what he felt the universe needed. He's one of those very few bad guys that somehow give you a sense of compassion and understanding for him even though he must be destroyed. So many bad guys are just straight up evil or bad, Thanos is the bad guy that knows he's a bad guy but he does it because he thinks it's the merciful thing to do. Damn MCU killed it with this character.

I just realized Vision is actually a controlling narcissist.

Well, I saw some comments saying how Vision is the most human character... and I think referring Vision as the most human is a huge compliment for humans... but that made me think... 🤔 It's interesting coming from a human itself that an IA could feel more human, so what does one mean by human? A humanoid is a being that has the same physical structure or has similarities of a human... But something that FEELS like a human? Perhaps is because of our way to transmit and perceive emotions, that could be translated into being more human?... Or maybe it's our way to perceive good and bad, one not existent without the other, with the understanding of this bringing one to try reaching what it's considered good as an obvious choice... And so, the collection of what are considered good actions is what connects with us, making even an object feel more human than a human being itself that does not understand or separate between good and bad?... Or could it be that the wisdom that comes from knowledge, a trait mainly attributed to humans because of our unique brain... so the wisdom and the objectivity of reason is what makes it feel human?... Or is it the consciousness of itself and the perception of existence, which bring curiosity and philosophical questions of everything?... It may probably be all those things mixed together, that create complex and relatable characteristics that feel like the best parts of humans... At the end of the day it's just a character, which means that it's created by a human, so it will always retain even a little bit of humanity in a way or another...
