I'm watching this in 2024 because of my concerns of the current US team's defense VS the other international teams. No wonder the 92 team blew out the opposing teams by 35-40pts. The 2024 team is barely winning by 10pts.

What people sometimes overlook is that Larry Bird was 6 foot 9… He was shooting better than most point guards. There weren't 6 foot 9 players doing what he did in the NBA at that time. People like to ask, could Larry Bird play in today's NBA. First of all today's NBA in my opinion sucks. No defense. Everybody just sits around the perimeter waiting for three point shots. Larry Bird would have a field day in today's NBA. He'd be physically more dominant with the progression of the way players are treated and medically helped better. Shooting a basketball is shooting a basketball. Doesn't make a difference if it's 1984 or 2024.

The 2nd most exciting player to ever play the game. Kyrie is a walking reel, but EVERYTHING Wade did on the court had a wow factor to it. He has the best career reel next to Jordan. Easily. I don't include Kyrie because he's not as consistent as far as making shots and he doesn't have any defensive highlights. Id exchange Kyrie pull up highlights for Wades defensive highlights any day. Wade was a better finisher, Kyrie is less of an athlete so he needed finesse more, Wade still has more highlight layups than Kyrie. Also no dunks for Kyrie. Wade and Jordan are on a different level than everybody else
