Great video!!! I am wondering like you, how far down to some bigger gold. I mined up on a couple of roadrunners claims in the black canyon creek and found some fly poop. Just wondering how deep I would have to go to get into some better pieces. Thanks Red
@andyamysarizonaadventures5450Ай бұрын
@Red-et2rd I guess by now alot of those claims are hit hard ,I would look for shallow easy flood gold pockets caught in grassy areas ,I saw a kid down there with just a sluce doing that and he got several times the gold I did with a dredge! Also I've heard more nuggets wh were found on the benches above the creek,take care Merry Christmas 🙂

@andyamysarizonaadventures5450 thank you for your quick and informative answer. Would love to meet up with you sometime to do some prospecting together. I am still guessing where to dig and sample here in the desert. I also am a 49er member in Northern California and have a spot there that is consistently putting out 3 to 4 grams in one day just using a sluice box. Thanks again Red
@andyamysarizonaadventures5450Ай бұрын
@Red-et2rd That 49er club definitely has good ground,We moved to Oklahoma a couple years ago for Amy to be closer to family and a good oil job for me,I have found myself extremely board here and have been dabling in crypto with a dream to afford a home in NE Utah, all the Spanish gold stashes I would be treasure hunting all the time.Maybe when we vacation in Arizona sometime I'll see if your in the area ,you been with us a long time,thank you

@andyamysarizonaadventures5450 we are currently about an hour south of Phoenix but hoping in the next five years or so moving north to surprise or Anthem. Somewhere alot closer to the gold fields. And if you ever plan a trip to Southern Oregon let me know. The claim I am working on the Klamath is in that area. We could met up and get some good gold. Love your videos and hope some day I can figure this desert mining out like you did. Have a Christmas season. RED

@Bryan-e7z that rock jam I later tore into it with a drwasher and didn't do as well I hoped. We later heard the previous claim owner got a 4" dredge just to the side of it,so maybe and old stack from that and some floods hit it😁

Fantastic finds!!! Would love to find just one some day. I have a quick drywashing question for you. I have found a new claim up near Cleator that i have been sampling. I have been cherry picking the bedrock pockets. Been getting some nice pickers out of those pockets. But i would like to move a little dirt. But i dont really know where to dig. Banks, underneath the flow sands on bedrock, inside corners, or away from the wash up on the side benches? I have heard so many different ideas on where to dig i am very frustrated. Especially because i am not finding much with my drywasher. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. I have high hopes for this new claim. Just dont know how to attack it. Thanks Red.
@andyamysarizonaadventures54502 ай бұрын
@Red-et2rd you really need to sample it all , up the banks follow the bedrock, it was all under water at one time and could be multiple sources waiting to be discovered. Good area ,congratulations!
