My brother and myself are members of the Havasu gold seekers club. We both have campsites there he spends around 5 months a year there and when I retire in 5 1/2 years I’ll be doing the same.

Ehh Andy looks like to have found a great new wash. So far mice looking Pickers. I'm in Quartzite presently. If possible maybe we could hook- up for a day doing some Dry Washing. Keep the right side up on those Atv's. And be SAFE.

I have the exact set up you have there! I love my Royal explorer and my little Senix 4 stroke blower. It all fits in a tote which makes it nice for transporting it around in my side x side. Keep up the great videos!

Try dowsing for concentrated pockets of gold in the wash. Read the book The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition for learning the physics involved in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod and learn how to build your own modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod for the book's dowsing lessons, which will turn you into a professional dowser.

If I were you, I would leave the shovel at home. Work on your knees with a small hand pick, pointed one end and scrapper blade other end. Get a good brush and with a small plastic scoop move product to 1/4 minus screen over your bucket until 3/4 full. Sometimes a dust pan can be handy and always good knee pads. You can uae a vac but more stuff to carry. Dig product for a couple hours pouring on a small tarp and moving it around ocassionaly to dry out.in the sun. Putting wet product straight into your drywasher and reproceesing 3 times is time consuming and far less efficient.

Good evening, great video. Wish I could find a dry wash like that. I think the club claims have been mined out years ago. One quick question for you about the small royal dry washer. Our ground this year seems to be pretty wet, does the small Royal handle that alright. I am getting close to buying a piece of equipment but am on the fence between a drywasher and a recirculating system. I just worry about the wet ground and a drywasher. Just wondering how you deal with it. Thanks. Red

A water system can be finicky dealing with grim and organics limiting the production. I have found the royal explorer to be great at recovery even fine really fine gold.Run the material twice and you will still run more production in a day.When things dry out completely it will be absolutely great.Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. I purchased the Explorer. I brought home a couple of buckets of dirt that had quite a few smaller specks of gold in them. I have been trying to dial in the angle and the feed rate. Only been catching about 50% of the gold. Not sure what to try next. I even tried running the riffles almost level. Didn't help. Any suggestions. I dried the material really good too. One thing I notice was I was not catching very much of the black sands. Don't know if that makes any difference or not. Thanks for any suggestions
