What interesting reflection of the human condition did showing a Breen face make?

It’s amazing how a fictional inanimate object can move a grown man to tears. I hope we stop all the wars happening and pool our resources together to realise the ultimate destiny of mankind - exploring the cosmos in the USS Enterprise.

I was hoping this scene would tie into "Calypso": A ship abandoned for a long time, dust collecting on the surfaces, maybe just missing "Funny Faces"' departure. Oh well...

Why demasking them when your idea ain't worth it visually? If someone deserved to give them actually faces that would have been the DS9 writers.

The cast had to have had some kind of reaction in the first shot walking on that old Bridge. Best ship in Star Trek to date.

“Doctor I didn’t have time to work on the weapon systems so you’ll need to target them manually.” But yet Beverly target locked the weapon emplacements? Didn’t notice this the first time around but it seems the writers kept forgetting what they were doing with her. In the scene before this she was holding her MEDICAL tricorder (the one glued to her hand for the last 30 years) to let the five people on the bridge that “all systems are ready” instead of you know simply looking at ANY control panel on the ship. That and the fact Troi is sitting in counselor seat just along for the ride. Atleast plop her I the seat she used to crash the Big E into the planet, that would actually make look useful.

I personally would have liked to have seen the ceremony that our Enterprise and Titan heroes (hopefully) got after the Borg and the Changelings were defeated.

The part about Data's gut was a reference to Geordi always trying to get him to go by it or something like that.

Legitimately terrible. The writers of discovery have to be ruining things people liked about old trek on purpose

Wouldn't it be a more efficient use of their limited crew if Dianna or Geordie (or both) actually sat at a console instead of chilling in the command chairs and leaving it all to Data & Crusher?

Before I saw this, I theorized that the Breen were a semi-gelatinous species that needed cold temperatures to maintain a solid, bipedal form. I also thought that the Breen’s true nature should remain a mystery.

The season is the worst of the whole series (as expected). Extremely boring. Just chasing for the non-senses. The episode 1 and 2 were barely ok while I could still see some star ships in action. However, after that. All episodes are junks. Too many emotional expression. And they just keep expressing the personal emotion without telling any actual sci-fi story. If the coming episodes are the same style. This star trek discovery series will come to a poorest ending ever seen in the history of star trek.
