A few days ago I read a comment somewhere saying they wished there was an option to romance one of the ladies in camp, and I've also seen a bunch of people basically shipping Arthur and Sadie. I'm glad the devs did not do that. So much media, be it films, TV shows or games, have romance in there in a way that feels shoehorned, but I think it's overdone. It's refreshing to have a medium that doesn't go for the low-hanging fruit of a "token romance" storyline, especially when (at least how I see it) it seems to make more sense without it. With Sadie specifically, from what I've heard the events of Red Dead Redemption 2 all take place in 1899, and with it being such a relatively narrow timeframe considering all the stuff that happens within it, it just wouldn't make a lot of sense for her to get romantically involved with Arthur such a short time after the traumatic event of her husband whom she evidently loved very much being killed by the O'Driscolls. And with Arthur, it's still very clear there's a bunch of unresolved pain about what happened with Mary, Arthur in general seems to have a bunch of unresolved trauma, and it's very evident too that he's not the type of guy that usually talks about his feelings and opens up. It fits with the macho ideas of manly behavior that very much include showing vulnerability being a sign of weakness. It makes a lot of sense for a man like Arthur after his experiences of loss as well as his relationship with Mary to basically "close up" romantically. So no thank you, we don't need an Arthur/Sadie romance. Or any sort of Arthur romancing someone.

My only problem is that hes missing his gloves and that his outfit looks too clean
