No, the drama made things more annoying. Crap shows like this, 'Orange county Choppers' etc. are why I don't watch TV anymore. I wanted to see the build process not listen to people get into arguments all the time. Now I watch Vice Grip Garage and channels like that on KZbin to AVOID this kind of nonsense.

I have to say most of their builds have been absolute crap the Delahaye looked hideous at best, mostly others were very cheaply put together and looked like what some rednecks in a two car garage built. The only vehicle I will really give them props for is the Volkswagen van they stretched and went full Mad Max on but it's horribly impractical and appeals to like 3 people in the country so not a great business model. Speaking of business model how do they get a car for $900 (Mercedes drift car), dump $20k in it, then trade it for an unrestored scout worth like $8k, then dump more money in that, trade, dump money, trade for something worth half as much.

Edd is a classy, switched on uni-educated mechanic and a down to earth bloke and it is was his detailed fixes that was the crux of WDs, since the DIY aspect was its targeted ethos. Mike saying that rubbish about Edd was totally out of order and although Ant was also a quality mechanic, it is likely he had had enough with Mike's ego and also walked.

There's no covering up the ravages of time. Whether its a Porsche or a Triumph Herald they do whatever is requured to tear a car sometimes completely apart to create a safe honest vehicle. No other car show does this. Very impressive ethical work. Very well done.
