Enjoy retirement Steve, thanks for all the hard work. You were one of the reasons I paid the subscriptions. New episodes meant class is now in session. This 67 yr old will miss the classes. I hope David can revive the show, he also is a wealth of knowledge.

He's just a narrator. He didn't do the research, he just read what they gave him. Honestly, I don't think it was AI. There was a continuing flaw, where the Ts were left unenunciated. The words I caught were certain, and important. Cer-ain, and impor-ant.

Love Mr. Brule and the show suffers without him. I recently purchased my own dyno and will be up and running this Spring. I love Engine Masters and had all the magazines & watched most every episode (DVR) I love all types of engines. I woukd love to know half of Steve Brule's knowledge. Amazing is not sufficient.

Loved the show my only complaint was as a ford guy they did more gm and Mopar tests than ford but still did way more ford stuff than 99 percent of other shows

Steve is an Amazing guy and I’ve known him for many years. He has dyno’d many of my engines and cars over the years and he told me about a year before the network announced it that he was going to retire. He loved what he did and enjoyed everyone he worked with. His wife was sick and his priorities were changing. He retired for her and to be able to spend more time with his family………

Motor Trend Production Studios was cĺosed due to financial difficulties of the parent company. So it is true, MotorTrend Production Studio is being closed in response to Discovery/Warner Brothers (who own MT) being 41 Billion dollars in debt. This is the end of all the amazing shows we have loved for so long.Nov 17, 2024. First , all the magazines closed in 2020. Hot Rod became 4 issue Glamor in 2024 and now the TV shows , all due to Management Malfeasance

I enjoyed the show so much I'm spending $55/year to watch it since it got moved to Discovery +. The money isn't lost as my wife watches Food Network with my sub, but I'm still kinda upset that nobody has tested my hypothesis of getting a wider powerband by combining long intake runners with a long-duration camshaft. I still watch some of the old episodes looking for more data I missed during earlier viewings.

It's 100% due to the pay wall. The don't have enough content to justify half the price of a KZbin premium membership which brings you automotive content and also everything else. More in video ad's would have been way better

Motortrend isn't available in nz and other countries as well. Such a shame to miss so much content or have to watch stuff on channels that don't support the creators

Motor Trend the company has gone too woke. Engine Masters in my opinion was hands down the best tv car show for real car guys/girls. Valuable, real world, tangible results and information. Without Engine Masters, the hobby will suffer until someone, something replaces it. David Vizard and Eric Weingartner are helping me fill the void from Engine Masters thanks to their KZbin channels, but Engine Masters needs to return for the good of the hobby, and the industry.

There is only ONE reason why the show didn't continue: The show was dropped in multiple European countries. Countries who considered what they were doing as advertisement. Product placement. Once Motor Trend realized they were going to lose 50% of their audience... no need to continue.

I agree. We've dyno'd two engines lately at Westech and the reason stated for the cancellation was that Discovery bought out the Motortrend channel and Discovery's market area covers much of Europe - and showcasing products even in a bad light was considered advertising and prohibited. Good times while it lasted. Westech is cutting its rented space by half and will be vacating one of its two dyno cells, storage and office area. Was huge before and will still be quite large compared to other dyno facilities.

i was told, that the show has enough episodes filmed they didnt need more for multiple seasons, which is why it got cancelled. it was basically, why keep filming if we havent shown what we already have. that and the fact the the dyno brain retired didnt help either

I sure did enjoy every episode I watched it didn't matter if it was on a Chevrolet motor or a Mopar I prefer Ford motors but I like them all learned a lot

When the Motor Trend channel ended its streaming service and the programs move to Max, I took the discounted subscription rate they offered, but only a handful of new episodes of ANY MT show have been released. Something is up. Especially since Freiberger rebooted his KZbin channel. Probably going to cancel Max, huge disappointment.

B.s. the show ended because of a call out. Their experience was challenged by another magazine personality, and the marketing engine masters became. Only testing product sponsors provided. The engines used had all been tested and perfected 30 years prior. None of them were leaders in the performance industry. As a matter of fact, the information they shared was extremely outdated. The average garage builder could do better. Pure Californication!!! Fake as hell.
