Awesome!! Thank you!! Now I understand the drum part Bruford was laying down there. This has helped me immensely. Much appreciated! Keep up the great work.

What a Fantastic F ing Drummer! I met Him once and I never forgot it. He just blew the audience away. It was a Real Experience that I thank Gar for.

1:47 the drum fill right here, breaking it down to how hes actually playing it is musical brilliance

Espetacular!!! 🤘🏻🇧🇷 Spectacular! One of the greatest drummers in rock and the best and greatest to ever play in Judas. In fact, the Ian/Dave partnership was perfect and unparalleled.

not wetton- too picky, & not at all aggressive enough. the fuzz is wrong. & anyone who's heard ANYTHING bruford played on in the 70s, before he bought the plastic suitcases from dave simmons..... even the 'absolute elsewhere' album or his stints with genesis & gong.... where's the starter-pistol snare? this is faker than charles & di's marriage. even AI could do better.

Just like Jason Newsted he has military timing in his playing. Sounds almost as made with a sequenser and not recorded live.

not that i think david is a bad player but its hard to have the same level of respect for their skill when a bassist uses a pick imo

Top bass player in my opinion. I'd use a pick if I was in Megadeth too especially live lol

Tom Araya’s bass playing sounds way better when heard with drums as opposed to isolated on its own. By itself his playing sounds really off, but here it sounds like he’s locked in with Lombardo quite closely.

trust your ear. this is fake. bass sounds more like justin chancellor than JW, & the drums could be anyone, but not billy b.

People look to me and say "Is the end near, when is the final day?" What's the future of mankind How do I know, I got left behind Everyone goes through changes Looking to find the truth Don't look at me for answers Don't ask me, I don't know How am I supposed to know Hidden meanings that will never show? Fools and prophets from the past Life's a stage and we're all in the cast You gotta believe in someone Asking me who is right Asking me who to follow Don't ask me, I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know Nobody ever told me, I found out for myself You gotta believe in foolish miracles It's not how you play the game, it's if you win or lose You can choose, don't confuse Win or lose, it's up to you It's up to you It's up to you It's up to you Go, go, go People look to me and say "Is the end near, when is the final day?" What's the future of mankind How do I know, I got left behind, now I'm lost Everyone goes through changes Looking to find the truth Don't look at me for answers Don't ask me, I don't know

Am I the only one who's brain automatically filled in Dimes guitar parts?😂 Seriously though, both of these guys are way underrated in what they brought to the overall sound of Pantera. RIP Dime and Vinny.
@Churro_Flaminguez4 ай бұрын
During the double time parts at the end, that could have been Ellefson and Menza it's so tight. The Pantera sound owes Rex a lot.

Metallica were never the same after Cliff. Justice was a good album, but they muted Jason sadly. Seattle '89 live is the last time Metallica were any good to me.

I've seen Charlie with Anthrax and S.O.D, such an amazing drummer. Frank Bello is not much much older than me, I remember going to see Anthrax supporting Iron Maiden at Birmingham NEC, sadly got a seated ticket. I was literally moshing in my seat during Anthrax set and Frank recognised and pointed me out repeatedly during their set.

Lombardo is the greatest thrash drummer, this is the weakest album to showcase his drumming. A band I'd love to hear drum & bass from, is Glen and Dan from Nuclear Assault. Dan is one of the greatest metal bassists anyway.
