I just had to put my dog down a few hours ago, 12 years old. Resonate deeply with your video. The parts about it not hitting hard when you're little since you didn't sign their life away compared to now when you're older and their life is in your signature. I chose to do it and I feel a tremendous amount of sadness. I know he's no longer in pain, but I miss him so much. The part about guilt hits me as well, I really should have been better to him when he was sick. I got frustrated that he wouldn't hold it a little longer before I could let him outside and lost my cool. After putting him down I come back to an empty house and the remnants of the past week replaying all of those dumb moments by me. I know time will heal it eventually, but man it's a terrible feeling.

Building requirements? Really? You can't live in this, but you can live in a van or car?😮
@nicholasbenedetto6319Күн бұрын
You're right, and you're wrong. Yes, you need to be sure you want to do it. You don't need a lot of stuff, especially an RV. BUT, a van is more practical. A van can go where an RV can't. It's stealthier. Solar comes in handy if you want a refrigerator, a hot plate, a microwave. Yes, sponge bath is just as good as a shower.

These videos are always full of commenters who think they are filling everyone in that these aren’t insulated and blah, blah blah as if people don’t know this. Always smug, condescending, telling people what dupes they are. News flash - everyone knows this. People who are seriously interested in this kind of project are usually far more aware of all the ins & outs of this than the geniuses who enjoy announcing the list of (obvious) modifications and codes and all else they think they’re educating everyone about. Like “check your local building codes! It doesn’t have plumbing and that’s “required!” Every other comment is from Captain Obvious & Admiral No Kidding. I honestly don’t know why these people even come in here except to feel superior.

I am tempted to hit the road but honestly, I don't think I could part with my 30 houseplants. I can sell/put in storage my cherished things but plants? Some I have had for many, many years. How did you all make the transition easier? I would be living in a Ford Escape with my cat, so not much room.

This is how it should be. I'd much rather own the lot outright, even if it's only a tiny lot. I would even pay HOA fees as long the HOA aren't a bunch of vampires.

Ha! No thats not every persons dream to pay that much for an unfinished 2000$ shed.. and ive seen this one..its wayyyyy over priced. I dont care how cheap they seem. You have delivery fees, set up fees, then have the electric company come oh wait you have to do the septic and plumbing before the electric company will give you power...money money money...

Hey man, I will make this short. I’ve been watching you for about 6-7 years, I decided to get a car and start living in it and I came to the same conclusion you did. It’s great living a more free life as a nomad, but the reality is that being in the public can be exhausting. I’m now a trucker, for the last 4 years or so. I don’t agree with you politically at all, I think we have sell outs at all levels of society. Even with that being said, I want you to know that you moved me enough to create that spark. I was truly inspired to see someone challenging themselves to hopefully spark something positive in others, I find myself at a crossroads again in life. I come back to you from time to time, I’m reminded that life is temporary and nothing really last forever. You taught me to capture the moment in life, I just wanted to give you my thanks for getting me through hard times! I know you will continue to inspire others, I hope to do the same for my great state! Long Live Texas 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
