Would uou ever consider making a video on how you edit your video’s? There are so many lil details that I would love to see how you edit them! I just got a new laptop and want to learn how to edit properly but no one has like “aesthetic” editing tips haha

P monthly periods years ago for me were just awful. I would be angry and feeling that well and didn't want to do nothing laying in the bed and like oh my gosh knew I had to go to school and knew I had to do things. So I do know what you're going through. It's unfortunate and you just have to deal with it the best. You know how that's all my advice that I can give to you. I am so glad I do not deal with this anymore but I still on occasion. Even though I'm 73 years old, I still do have my hot flashes which sometimes are not so pleasant and so that's what you have to do with after when you get older and the reason I watch your your videos. I love your animals the way you take care of them. I love your style of working. I am envy of your ability for your art and your passion and your truthfulness to everything and share things that some people wouldn't share. And I wish I had the guts at your age to do the same. Perhaps things with a bad a little bit different for me. But I do wish you the best and I will continue watching your videos. Thank you so much

I was just diagnosed with PMDD (basically a very intense version of PMS) and I'm also an artist selling my work online. I've taken the "cycle syncing" approach to my business for the last couple of months now. During the week before my period, I just can't create anything, I can't even pick up my brush. It's like trying to produce a Patronus while depressed (Potter nerd here 🤓) so I take it slowly and gently and focus on doing admin stuff that I normally put off because I'd rather be painting. I think it's totally normal to follow your energy.

Any advice for people struggling to sell their art ?
@palomathepeach12 күн бұрын
my advice is always: 1. research social media marketing 2. start on 3rd party sites like etsy, red bubble etc 3. look into selling in person at smaller art markets so you are not relying solely on the internet for people to find you. you will also help you build your local community 4. get involved in your local art community and build connections

May i ask if this kind of lifestyle ever stress you out? If so how do you get back up again (just out of curiosity from a mini illustrator)
@palomathepeach17 күн бұрын
yes definitely! as with any job there is stress, at the time that i made this video i was not very good at dealing with stress but now i realized that stress is not something that can be avoided just a part of life. and getting back up again is mostly from it being my job and needing to make money to live :)

A trick I learned recently for greenware: weigh the piece as it dries, and when the weight bottoms out and doesn’t decrease anymore, it’s bone dry 😊 I also use a fan sometimes when I’m impatient 😅 you can also ask if your studio does a preheat! The community studios I’ve worked in typically do a preheat to make sure pieces are totally dry ❤
