I like your studio vlogs regardless of length. Right now with the holidays, it actually is easier for me to sit down to a shorter video. I love to journal or write my prose while your vlogs are on. Makes it feel like I'm creating with someone else in the room with me.

When you showed the Timelapse of the cat drawing I thought that it looked so much like the way you draw your people portraits, the same style and feel. So it was interesting when you said that this was the first time that you had felt connected to a cat drawing for a long time, that it felt more like your style. I definitely felt that too. Love it 😊

I think all your viewers would agree with me when I say it doesn’t matter how long your videos are we are just thankful to have such a creative artist to watch and to be apart of your life as far as being able to watch your creative process and meet your beautiful family of fur babies that you and your new husband have created

Communicate what you want to communicate, in the way that you feel it. Be as creative or as simple with each video as you want to be. I like to watch you experiment also with that and I enjoy it all 😊

honestly don't worry about the length of video! there's days where I'm pretty busy (or my attention span just it) and i prefer videos up to 15-20 minutes, some days i love having a long video to watch/ listen to while i work on my own art a little (so i don't have to constantly switch to another one) :) For me filming is hard sometimes because i don't want to do work off camera, which sometimes stops me from working alltogether so that i can save the piece for the time I'm also filming. Recently, I've been doing a lot of work off camera, and although it sucks not to have much to post, I'm sure there will be a time again where I'm more motivated to film and work at the same time :) ♥♥

Your hair cut is so cute! Have you ever seen “Roman Holiday”? It is an old black and white movie about a princess who sneaks out of the palace to try to experience normal life. Your hair cut reminds me of one she got in the movie. Audrey Hepburn

Shorter form vids are absolutely fine! I love to watch no matter what, and honestly sometimes, I just don't have the time for really long ones. I get around to them eventually, but short and sweet is fine too! I'm really new to making art vids for my social media accounts. I feel bad that I can't make as many as most of the popular artists, or even quality wise. I was thinking to myself the other day, why does it HAVE to be that way though? This will age me, but I remember before the internet and how artists just created without worrying about filming process and vlogs and could live a hermit life and that was completely acceptable. It's totally fine if that's how artists want to promote of course, but I think for better or worse, I'm gonna be the slow life/cozy creative on the outside looking in - but that's okay with me. I think that's why watching artist vlogs is so much fun - I can kind of vicariously experience it while I continue my existence as the wallflower artist ^^;

ya definitely!! i think with creating content at the end of the day you have to do what comes naturally to you and what’s fun, otherwise you end up burnt out!! stick to what comes easily to you and you’ll be great at it :)) as far as quality and quantity it is DEFINITELY practice makes perfect… it took me a very long time to find what tech i liked, editing style etc. and it’s hard to get used to a posting schedule

I don’t mind a shorter vlog 😉 I’ll take what I can get! Also, I had a ceramics question. I’m taking classes at a studio but wanting to do some more stuff at home once classes end. What do you do in regards to clean up? Do you save all the shavings from trimming or just dump them? How do you deal with the slip at the end of a session since I know you’re not supposed to dump it down the drain? I’m lost and I don’t really have any ceramic friends that have a home studio 🙈

I’ll def show this more in videos but for extra scraps or trimmings they go right in the scrap bucket I have! as far as clay water/slip if my scrap bucket is full I dump it in the grass outside or down the sewer :) u just don’t wanna dump it down the drain because it’ll damage the pipes

For the bottom of your dipped pots, you might save some time by using wax resist before you dip. It’ll burn off during firing and you won’t have to sponge. Ceramic studio looks so well equipped. Nice work.

Do you ever have days where you want to draw but then when you do nothing looks right? That’s been me lately and it’s super disheartening lol. Also I’ve heard the epson scanners are really good! I think they have some bigger ones too:)

Linda bota. Tendemos a repetir lo que nos agrada, eso me queda claro y lo enfatizas en todo el video, con la olla y tu arte o trabajo, marcas tus referencias. Si todo está inventado y no todo está innovado. ¿Por qué no dejarte llevar por tus gustos a base de tu criterio, de fluir según tus conocimientos? El decir que es copia cuando tu argumento pudo ser el derrame del líquido, es más que válido por la abundancia del mismo. Aun así se ve genial.
