The transition zone (TZ) in a reservoir is the area where water saturation changes from 100% to irreducible as you move upwards. It's located below the oil-water contact (OWC) and above the free water level (FWL), and can contain a significant amount of oil

Thank you! The presentation was indeed informative. In the section on porosity, you provided a comprehensive definition of the methods for determining porosity from various logs. However, there was an oversight regarding the explanation of the distinction between total porosity and effective porosity, as well as the procedures for calculating each. Could you please provide an explanation for that?
