bro I got the same car and wondering how much you spent... cuz I'm trying to do the same because I love this car more than others car, shit been in my family hands for 12 years since released, never break down, I do red line, 100+mph everyday, I attack this engine like it was a race car and still like a baby 0 issues, never had such a reliable car like this one that's why don't want to get rid of.

In my opinion it wasn’t hard at all. I thought it was going to be lot more complicated. As long as you have every part you need you’ll be good.

I'm trying to research this for my "SI" build. Did you absolutely need the wiring harness (Not for the engine) and if so, did you need it because you were coming from auto or something else? If I can avoid that it would be amazing but if I must do the harness, I will. Also, do you know if the LX gauge cluster works with the SI swap? I want mine to still seem like a normal LX on the surface.

Hey man I know this vid has been up for a while but question. For when you say “update on finding new led h1” which led h1 bulbs did you find? All I see are the old links to the Hid ones. Also when you adjusted them how did you get them to adjust higher? I’ve been trying to adjust them but haven’t been able to. Hope you can see this message pops! Thank you. :)

Its no longer an automatic transmission. i switched it to a manual 6spd.

I bought these but I noticed is that the Tron lights don't stay on during the day with the daytime running lights they only turn on when you switch the night lights

My engine block cracked.. had to go jdm engine... why tf did i have to live in cali again? Smh. Guess what i replaced my r18 with?? Yep, another R18. (33k tho!) Its a good motor. But god damn wish i couldve gone K series.

Did you swap the ABS module aswell from the SI? The VSA and EPS might be attributed to it.

@@joseautomotivemedia Okok but i noticed that we r18 9th gen have one motor mount support less on the left of the block near the windshield washer fluid container on the struts tower have you had to do a diy support there or what not? Thanks a lot for answering your one of the only person i can talk to that as dones this swap !

@@daraichedaveyou are right. If you end up swapping your 9th gen i suggest amd recommend to buy some racing motor mounts. They are stiffer than your stock ones and will definitely do its job with holding the engine especially since it doesn’t having the torque mount that the si’s comes with. Even when si owners upgrade the mounts they actually remove the torque mount since the racing motor mounts are stronger and stiffer.
