How do you unscrew the key which hold the bearing on the lap assembly
@sutra1976
@sutra1976 4 ай бұрын
I don't have the machine with me at the moment but I remember that that assembly is pressed into place an the bearings have a groove with a ring to keep the spindle to drop too much. Check it well because I can't be sure that all models are built the same

I found what looks exactly like a moqui/shaman stone or Klerksdorp sphere today at a reservoir in the UK. It is spherical in a very regular form with the ridges running around the equator... but it's made entirely of sandstone (no iron, so a light sandy colour). I found it at the beach, around the reservoir, amongst the shingle which was imported, the reservoir being man-made. The only other thing I've seen like it, was from a guy filming in a desert in northen New Mexico. He found geode looking rocks with 'sandstone moqui marbles' inside. Any thoughts? Thanks for showing us what's inside 🙏❤️

Could such a sphere be used to survive reentry into the atmosphere, and seed life for example, containing dormant microbes on the substrate (which looks like sand).

Slingshot ammo, perhaps? The groove is good for putting a spin on it when launched. Did the ancients know how to make stone from quartz and metals such as aluminium and salts from wood ash?

You can use sintered diamond laps till the pre-polish but copper is just too hard to polish Tanzanite, you will end up with grooved surfaces. Thanks for commenting
