You really make it sound like you visited Canada when you only visited the Rockies. It is like visiting Hawaii and telling the world that you visited the USA and implying that Hawaii is representative of the entire USA.

You need to try lays KETCHUP chips and a coffee crisp chocolate bar....only in Canada. Flashing green light just means it is controlled by the pedestrians. Visit the Okanagan BC. Wine country. Lots of fresh fruit and vineyards.

Love China Town. The restaurants of Vancouver!! It's been a while, and you reminded how super Vancouver is. (Wrong side of the continent for Mexican food . . . I have trouble finding mexican stuff, too.) And the island. Went to university in Victoria, and it holds such a special place in my heart. One thing you could learn . . .snow is fun! Winter is fun! and beautiful. Don't be afraid of winter. Ski, skate, toboggan, hike,, build a snow-person, throw snowballs, build a snow fort and have a snowball fight . . .then hot chocolate by the fire. I hope you come back. Quebec in the fall and winter, the colour of the leaves in October, the festivals, the cities. Ski in the west, skate in the east on frozen rivers or ponds. Montreal is as close to Europe as you can get without crossing the pond. And the people are renowned for being warm and welcoming. (I love the double-cheek kiss as a greeting!)

I really enjoyed your video, thank you. We emigrated to Canada 47yrs ago with three young boys, from England. I live in Regina, Saskatchewan and still marvel at the friendliness of people.Saskatchewan has its own beauty and has approximately 100,000 lakes in the north and prairie in the south. Well worth the visit.

I’m surprised that you were surprised about the lack of tortillas….. that’s like a Canadian being surprised there’s no proper poutine when travelling the US. It’s just not a a large part of our culture. In BC you will get great Asian foods because of the large Asian populations.

I came to Alberta in 1996 at the age of 19 as an immigrant in search for getting admission in a University. Did my university Engineering degree here in Calgary, I decided against moving anywhere else such as, the Eastern provinces or the US and decided to build my career here and pay my taxes here since I did not yearn to go anywhere else. I came here only with $150 in 1996 as a 19 year old. Now, with a career working in the corporate industry for 23+ years, wife, kids, big house, expensive cars etc. everything I could hope for, I am able to afford. Whatever your aspirations are, Calgary has the tools in spades to make it happen as long as you can put in the hard work and also Banff, Lake Louise being there only 2 hours drive away, is the icing on the cake..

If ever you go back, and travel to Alaska, make sure to travel the BC interior way…the parks and scenery is out of this world! Have fun! West to east hey! You know what will make it “unforgettable…”: Quebec City, the city but also the French…are you ready to be “amazed”??? Try it! Above Maine/Vermont, you will find the francophone province of Quebec! The food is accordingly…amazing, and yes, we invented “poutine” lol! Au plaisir!

Like many things, you cannot bring pepper spray across the border, however, living here in Edmonton Alberta, a city with a metro population of 1.7 million. My daughter carries bear spray, (pepper spray) in a nicer part of town, with her every morning when she goes for her morning run. If you go to B.C. once more the Okanagan valley is beautiful.

I live in Newfoundland which is the newest Canadian province, joined the country back in 1949. Since we retained our status as a European colony for so long, we also retained a lot of 'odds and ends' when it comes to our culture. For example, the spoken accent in Newfoundland sounds like 60% heavy rural Irish, maybe 10% Scottish, 15% English, and the last 15% being a combination of French, Spanish, and Portuguese influence - all combined to make Newfoundland English or "Newfinese" haha. Almost completely incomprehensible to the average English speaker when you get into the more rural NL areas. NL is the most eastern province so we were the first to be settled by European colonizers. So most of our developed land is haphazard, because they were just trying to survive when they settled here and didn't exactly plan well. In general the further west you go, the more organized the land development is. Our ancestors just didn't have the resources or manpower to create meticulously cultivated cities, so things are a bit more labyrinthine here, we built around the land instead of shaping the land based on our expansion plans. Just warning you since you seem to do most of your own navigating - I hate trying to drive around the populated areas in NL haha. That being said, we have so much beautiful, untouched landscape and wildlife here. A ton of history too, since we were kind of the "test run" for colonizers in the early days - based on the easternly location, when the ships sailing across the Atlantic hit land, it was Newfoundland. Our provincial traveller's guide website does a pretty good job at highlighting the attractions, but here's a few suggestions: Cape Spear Lighthouse (Large staircase trail, oldest still-standing lighthouse in NL, historical significance during 2nd World War) Signal Hill/Cabot Tower (Mountainous hiking trail, strategic use in military defense and communications) St. John's Quidi Vidi area (a military outpost/cod fishing region used by various European countries since the 1600's) Cape St. Mary's (a short cliffside hike to a seabird colony of thousands) Ferryland (short walk to the lighthouse picnics overlooking the ocean from a high elevation) Mistaken Point & Cape Race Lighthouse (Mistaken Point is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a 500+ million year old fossil sea bed you can take a tour to walk out on, and Cape Race was the nearest NL Lighthouse to receive the Titanic's distress call in 1912) Elliston (coastline is home to hundreds of puffins - also home to hundreds of ancient root cellars) Fogo Island & Change Islands - Bonavista, Trinity & Port Rexton - Brigus & Cupids - Twillingate - Dildo (all small 'fishing towns' with their unique charms, beautiful rugged coastline and salt-of-the-earth community) Gros Morne National Park (many hiking trails in varying distances and difficulties, rare flora and fauna, breathtaking mountainous regions, fjords, waterfalls, the tablelands - another UNESCO WHS) L'Anse aux Meadows (another UNESCO WHS, the only authenticated Viking/Norse archeological site in North America, which uncovered history of the nordic explorer Lief Erickson - also, the encampment of Norstead, a recreation of a viking trading port) And honestly this is the tip of the iceberg (oh yeah, we have those too) - I just picked a handful of outdoorsy, trail or nature based areas, since that seems to be what you two enjoy the most. There's so many more beautiful places on top of these, and so many other things to do besides just view the sights.

I am in eastern Canada, Nova Scotia. There r 4 eastern provinces right in the water on the Atlantic Ocean, u r never too far from the water, so many things to do and see if u love the water. Plus the cabot trail in Nova Scotia is one of the top 3 scenic drives in the world, the other two being big sur and the Apennine way in Italy.

You guys are absolutely the sweetest. So positive. So lovely to hear all your hyped responses about your adventures in my backyard. Indeed the Canadian Rockies are magical… Your country equally magical. Re-re-: your last video, as far as I know a flashing green light simply means that there's a lane available to be turning Left so the oncoming traffic is stopped for you. I've never seen that it is a flashing green to acknowledge there are lots of pedestrians if anything it would be a flashing yellow to indicate slow down proceed with caution. Look forward to hearing more from you guys. So happy to subscribe to a positivesite.

My husband is from the East Coast, specifically Newfoundland. I have been there many times and each time it did not disappoint. There are so many things to do on the west coast where my husband is from. You can climb Grosse Morne Mountain, hike to Western Brook Falls, take a drive to see the Viking ruins, and whale watching from the shore to name a few. The best thing of all is the people. If you go to Canada's east coast, Newfoundland is a must-see.

When I moved from Toronto to Vancouver in 1992 I had no idea what a flashing green traffic light meant either. A green flashing traffic light means it is pedestrian crosswalk controlled light, so you have to be prepared to stop. I have a Mexican girlfriend I know where all the great Mexican restaurants are. I don't know where you were shopping but there are tortillas at every grocery store I've ever been to.

The flashing green light in BC is related to pedestrians. However in every other province the flashing green light gives right of way to vehicles to make left hand turns.
