If you go to Eastern Canada. Halifax is a must. Otherwise, don't even come.

Hey guys glad you enjoyed our beautiful little country! Im in Ontario but have either lived in or visited many of the places on your trip. If you do it again try starting out in Alberta and definitely check out the badlands around Drumheller especially the museum. Then do the prairies east to Ontario, you might think at first its too long too boring but the prairies offer their own special kind of unique beauty that's better appreciated if you stay off the Trans Canada hwy, its long yes but it'll leave a lasting impression. Northern Ontario is 2nd to none especially from Thunder Bay to Sault Saint Marie along the north shore of Lake Superior. There's amethyst mines around Thunder Bay you can get some deals...tell your friends.

There are many lifetimes of things to see and do in Canada. It’s the second largest country in the world. There are 3000 kilometres to the east of Alberta. Go east of Alberta! I have to say, you guys put together some very sweet content. Sure hope you see some of the other 3/4 of the country some time.

Every province has its own lovely things. I’m in Northern Ontario and my kids going west were amazed at just how lovely the prairies were. And the East coast is so lovely as well. Loved Torino. Assuming You stopped at the old growth forest near Port Albernie. Did you hit the train to the old lumber mill? On the East coast P.E.I. Is special and the whale watching out of St.John’s Newfoundland was spectacular. Canada is an amazing place to live. 😊Took my kids from coast to coast over a couple of summers like my parents did for me.

You shouldn't say say just Canada because you never went East. Western Canada is totally different from Eastern Canada. It is basic 10 different countries .

I would definitely recommend Northern BC, and Yukon for you. While the Columbia Ice Fields is an extremely pretty drive, they're equally pretty areas near Muncho Lake which is on the Alaska Highway in northern BC, and also the area around Stewart BC. To be honest, I can't decide which is the best amongst those! Stewart gives access to Hyder Alaska, where Canadians do not need a passport to enter! in fact, people from Hyder need a passport to go to other places in Alaska! Hyder has a grizzly bear watching area run by the Park Service. Bears are a common sight on the roads in Yukon though.

About bear spray, it's not illegal to possess and buy (18 yo) but it depends on where and at whom you use it on are illegal . You can not carry bear spray in cities that clearly has not large wild animals and it's illegal to use it against people, gray area for self defense.

I believe the Flashing Green Light is found in Vancouver. It is a pedestrian activated traffic light. They are found on main downtown routes on intersections of minor cross streets. If you go back to Vancouver look at those lights more closely you will see that there are no corresponding traffic lights for cars on those side streets, just crosswalk signals. This makes those flashing lights glorified crosswalks again they are only on the major routes on those intersections that are not major intersections. I believe they were created because on those major routes during rush hour normal crosswalks get ignored.

You were in Canada, but you didn’t see it. You saw parts of BC and Alberta. It’s a beautiful part of the world, but it’s not Canada, no more than visiting NYC is seeing the US. Come back for a visit!

So, the pepper spray is illegal, but there are legal attack deterrent sprays. These are things like Bear spray, and dog spray. Lots of stores will class it a pepper spray, but it is made from different ingredients.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! I grew up in Northern BC, had a cabin in Alberta for 10 years, and now live on Vancouver Island. I loved your video. Victoria, Quebec City and Halifax are my 3 favourite cities... so, yes, please do the cross country trip! My daughter and I just did a six day trip to the far north end of Vancouver Island. It was my very first time up there and it was awesome. She made a video about it. Check it out... kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6OWdIZmZsmtoLcsi=N5E-hBmDPHxhewNT (Btw... if you seriously want to move to Canada, please try the island. Our young and wonderful next door neighbours are originally from Colorado. They've been here for several years now and plan on staying.) All the best! subscribed!

i'm glad you enjoyed your time here in the big white north :-) a couple of things, a) green flashing traffic lights, they are usually at crosswalks 'idling' until a pedestrian pushes the button, then they turn into regular traffic lights, cycling through yellow, red and back to flashing green. b) next time try to include the southern interior of BC, the Okanagan valley (only desert in Canada) where you can ski (up to April) in the morning, golfing in the afternoon or visiting one of the many wineries after sunbathing on a sandy beach....... c) we might don't have as many Mexican restaurants, but making up for it with east Indian food!

The flashing green light is traffic continues flowing until a pedestrian push the button then it turns red.

Yes, you are welcome to Canada anytime!!!! Just stumbled on your channel and I have to say… what a cute couple you are!!! Tofino and Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island is an amazing area. Go east, it’s a big country. This is the equivalent of going from Orlando to key west. Ontario and Quebec have 200000 lakes each, go for a portage in Algonquin and the lakes are warm. Quebec City is stunning. Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island on the east coast. Newfoundland is pretty much it’s own country. Or drive through Yukon up the dempster highway to the Arctic Ocean.

11:29 beautiful reminder of the Nature in BC/Alberta Rocky Mountain area. I used to live camping in BC and saw bears everywhere. That was last Century. You lost me with your manufactured chips with hydrogenated oil and salt. Carrying bear spray and dog spray is not illegal. Just going over border?

I agree with other comments, you have not seen Canada just one province. Go across Canada and see the east coast.

3:10 into it I keep thinking that you're oblivious of the risk of an 8+ Mega-earthquake which WILL hit the city. The epicenter will be undergound, out in the Pacific NW off the Coast and be 9+! I called Vancouver home more than once long ago. There was auto pollution walking the streets of Kitsilano where are beaches and fresher air. I could see it in the air and taste it in '80s.

I'd check out the East Coast. Newfoundland has some of the best topography in the country. Gros Morne National Park has fjords and then there are quaint untouched seaports like Fogo Island. Nova Scotia has Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg are famous for a reason, and then there's Halifax, the historic capital. PEI is a tiny but packs a punch. The freshest seafood, miles of sandy beaches, red soil, and rolling farmland for miles. New Brunswick: Hopewell Rocks/Bay of Fundy and historic Saint John.

I lived in Canmore for about a decade, and I used to go out of my way to take people who were visiting and show them things and places that most tourists/travelers don't get to see. There are so many beautiful hikes that don't get the recognition they deserve. Always try to hook up with a local and ask about areas that aren't promoted as much, no matter where you go in Canada, because every part of the country has their "famous" sights as well as so many areas that are more "locals only".

Don't just stay close to the Trans Canada Hwy. It doesn't even go through PEI and Quebec. And you only get the bare minimum of exposure to the other provinces as it stays in the south of each province. Make sure you go to Jasper, AB next time you're here. :)

You are the cutest couple! No offense, I can tell you’re also very mature, but you have such a lovely vibe. As a native Albertan who grew up going skiing in Jasper and Banff, and as a former teacher who spent my career in Vancouver, I have really enjoyed revisiting all these haunts with you. Thanks for your upbeat take on my magnificent land, and definitely do come back! There’s so much more to see!

If you go to British Columbia again, you definitely need to go to Osoyoos. It's a border town and it is Canada's desert 🏜 Do a wine tour, stop at the desert cultural center.go swimming in the lake, stop and see spotted lake. Check out the local art gallery go for a trail ride on horse back. There is more. Better check it out.

Cloverdale (BC) Rodeo May long weekend. Second largest in Canada after Calgary Stampede. Head Mashed in Bison jump, south of Calgary, World Heritage site, Cypress Hills Provincial Park, SK. Clearwater Lake Provincial Park Manitoba ( a little north), if you don't want to travel that far north, there are plenty of provincial parks by Brandon. Make sure you go to Blue Hills Bakery if you are in Brandon, homemade Hutterite food.
