Great job as for me doing this it ain’t happening. I don’t have the technical skills about the only thing I could jailbreak is android streaming box which way I’ll know is just a couple buttons. I wouldn’t wanna risk ruining my Apple TV but you did a nice job and a great video.

On iPhone 15 pro Max waiting on 17.4.1, my main use is just no ads and free in app purchases, not really much to ask for and possibly going to give up on the wait, got to upgrade my phone before a jailbreak, never happened back then. Back then I could buy the brand new phone of the era and be able to jailbreak it same day, times have changed and it’s definitely for the worst.

Jailbreaking has been dead for so long and I remember back when it kinda died and then came back for a bit. Also jailbreaking is pretty pointless in my opinion anyway.

Two things I need and use jailbreaks for. Localiapstore and Splitscreen enabling on iPad for apps that don’t allow it (God knows why)

Ive been jailbreaking since I was a kid. Back when the first ipod had an untethered jailbreak. I remember all my friends thought it was so cool & I would actually jailbreak their devices too. Every apple device I owned had a cydia jailbreak. Running basic tweaks like f.lux, zeppelin & barrel made my devices look so cool. I have not had a proper jailbreak since my iphone 11 almost 5 years ago. I am hoping that I can jailbreak my iphone 15 pro max. I am on ios 17.2 and have not updated it once despite it constantly asking me to update I always think about having a jailbreak soon.

SmartBattery 10. EeveeSpotify/Spotilife 11. HDO Box 12. uYou This is not even scratching the tip of the iceberg. And you really gonna ask why someone would choose jailbreaking over iOS 18. Bite your tongue! Also, I heard rumors that iOS 18 Apple patched the exploit where we can now no longer use TrollStore.

I love how Apple frowns upon jailbreaking, but they dog the jailbreaking community at every turn with their updates, in essence stealing from the jailbreak community to implement to their latest releases without giving any credit to those developers.

I would still love to jailbreak. Frankly, I just think it’s fun- but as for what jailbreak has that Apple doesn’t, here are a few examples: • the Cylinder tweak, which is definitely my favorite- customizes the animation that appears when you swipe between apps • DopeConvos tweak allows more customization within iMessage • Appaze 2 tweak lets you customize each app settings individually with the Control Center • SwitchConfirm is very useful when I don’t want to be transferred to an app while clicking at a website • In general, jailbreak allows you to download third party apps without them getting “revoked” (although Apple is apparently going to allow that soon anyway)
