Warning to everyone, please read. Since the release of (i think ios 15.1/15.2) The IPSW for all 14's have been unsigned, therefore you cannot downgrade unless you have saves SHSH blobs and want to do a complicated mthod, but that only works if you saved your SHSH if you want to downgrade now, you cant.

I had the same problem, unfortunately the only way to fix this issue is to upgrade again to ios 15, edit the info.plist and set the product version to 15.0 again in backup folder, and then your backup will work fine and nothing will be lost. It sucks, but this is the only solution right now.

Ok guys! Here's interesting thing... You don't need to backup anything.... Just download the firmware, connect your device with itunes and hold shift and click check for updates. Choose the file and click update. It will do everything for you. No data loss and nothing else. It will downgrade just like upgrading without deleting anything. I just downgraded my ipad mini to 14.8 and nothing got deleted. Everything is in there working fine.
